RYMERPT 2022 into 2023 GLOG

My buddy asked me for seeds a couple weeks ago. I told him its to late in the season, but b sent him the seeds anyway. This will be his first time growing peppers and he is going with a small hydroponic kit he bought.
Well, because he started this late, I thought what the hell. Sooo I ordered a new heat matt (should arrive today) and went out and bought some soil. Im using the same solo cup method that has worked so well before. Two cups, top cup has holes, water from the bottom up.
I sowed (three seeds per cup) 1) REAPER 2) YELLOW NAGA REAPER 3) FATALI 4) TEPIN X LEMONDROP View attachment 108 143[/ATTACH]

Red Ghost Pepper is a real classic. One of my
favorite superhot varieties for smoking and
grinding for powder. Good luck with those!

Gotta agree with you. I find the bhuts far more tasty. My favorite SUPER is Jay's peach bhut, but the red bhut jolukia is a very close second. I salsa the supers and yes I make lots of powder. I have friends that hit me up like I'm a crack dealer or something. "Dude, got anymore of the really good powder"? I feel so loved.

"The little guys only have a few leaves anyways. WATER CAN BE HARMFUL JUST AS EASILY AS HELPFULL. Use your head Ryme. I want yummy peppers not dead leaves dumbass. "

After picking off the dead leaves and having to discard two of BOOs babies this guy balled me out. Thank god he is here to keep me in line.

After a little research I've come to the conclusion that one of the biggest reasons that my little guys have not grow so much is FUNGUS GNATS. Yep it makes sense. I do see them coming out of nearly every cup. I paid them very little attention because I was not aware that they can stunt growth. I've now placed masking around the top of the cups to try to capture the little fuckers.

Some yellow sticky paper will help keep the gnats
under control.
Paul,
Where do I find this paper? Is that an item a nursery would have? I can picture it, but not sure where to find it. As a Exterminator (retired) we used "sticky boards" for mice and roaches, but they were white.
