what's the coldest temp at lights off time?   Mine indoors it was not getting cold enough for them to produce... but when I started putting them outdoors they podded up like crazy because it had a full cool/hot cycle. I'm noticing now my stem cap tops look different.. mine are like 2-Parts, while otheres are like 3-4? and separated.   but mine are looking truer like those above ArkansasJack has, with the stem tops being 2 sections. And like the original BBG7 look like.

I'll cut one I have now. At my stage and I'll compare it to an over ripe one.

yeah it will turn also if its true. In the case of my pods... They are not ripe yet.. not even close to fully ripe.   I still don't know if mine are true or not..     I have also seen some pods but they are missing the trait. These peppers are still only f4-f5 generation so there will be...

I'll have to see if this goes red after the orangish color it is now. It's looking very orange on about 6 peppers so far. My other plant has lots of peppers but none ripening yet.

  how long did your pepper take to ripen.. I have one with a bright orange patch on it, 1st one ripening... looks alot like that shade to me.... is mine I think looks orange.

do you have any ripening pictures for the stages. I'm in Maine also, and mine are looking like they are ripening with brown stripes on the sides.   I'm just trying to find the ripening stages/pictures of these, so I can see the color stages.

my plants are so close... ill post pictures tonight....... I did in my spare time.... cross some bbg7 pollen on a carolina reaper plant.. (once it takes ill start my hybrid experiment, over winter..)

from what my buddy says... he started growing them and they exploded in growth.. then he found out later that your supposed to have some massive area for vertical growth available. Also I don't think year 1 will produce for you.   I would check with a more knowledable grower on the subject but I...
