    My first ghost peppers.

the jalapenos and seranos, i'd make into salsa or bacon wrapped poppers. the ghost peppers are a different story. you asked for sauce recipes. that's not an easy question to answer w/o knowing what kind of sauce you want to make....fermented, fresh, pickled..and what you want to use said sauce...

quick review. nice heat. slow burn on the back end, doesn't slap you in the face or make you cough, but very noticeable. had a bit of fruit flavor, but the cinnamon/nutmeg/five spice/whatever that was in the peach butter came through more than i thought it would. it should do well with shredded...

Just put up a third batch

so, today i tried it on the blandest breakfast tacos i could think of...... potato/egg/cheese. there was some noticeable heat, not super hot, but it was there. however, there was no flavor, fruit or otherwise. it was simply the flavors of the taco with a very mild heat. needless to say, i'm...

Just put up a third batch

slow heat, but not super hot. no fruit taste, just heat. but the potatoes had been marinating in a fire roasted salsa for 2 days, so that may have over powered the fruit taste. will get some breakfast tacos in the morning and use this instead of salsa to see how it does.
