  • You wait 'til connor goes back to school next week and I need help with algebra, not even sure I can spell it properly. I really wanted to have a chat with you last night but everytime I picked up my phone to log on something else came up.
Nothing special, just a different day after a really busy night last night. It all kinda started when I got a coach load of Australian's (60 something of them with 32 rooms) wanting to check in 3 and a half hours early. I mean I could hardly send them back home. A lovely day, just different.
That's lovely to hear! Having tea now babe, let's hope tomorrow at work is dead so I can chat to you. x
That's why he's had to do all the washing and wiping up tonight and was called in early. He said it jokingly but it's not the point. He was with his friends and showing off, he'll learn. I do feel bad though that he has one week left of school holiday's and I can't be here all the time, in fact very rarely, even the dog's got the arse with me because he wants more attention on top of two walks a day.
There's a song in the charts by Sean Kingston called Fire Burning and he says about calling 911, just seems an awkward number to me if I'm trapped in a fog of smoke or half dead from an illness. I couldn't have it on speed dial as earlier I rang Con when I was after someone else, when Connor answered and knew this his answer was along the lines of stuff you and then the dialling tone.
It's 999, doesn't that make more sense? I'd hate to be scrabbling about in a emergency trying to find two buttons.
That was a beautiful song, I never liked his stuff like Stand and Deliver but that song was great, I preferred the start of it to the end. I just looked at the lyrics and they're really nice.

Do you know what our emergency no. is btw?
What he pays me is his business, I don't understand how he works the holiday pay out, the night porter once took 4 days off and got paid over £500. Anyway my wage slip is often short each week, he'll look at the last few weeks anyhow. I'm the most honest person ever, too honest, I love the way you look out for me though. What's this song? BTW why do you have a number like 911 for your emergency services? Not too practical in a way.
No because when I noticed it he wasn't there and his wife who's a manager doesn't deal with wages, also if it's over why would I question it? I did notice on another payslip that I was 8 hours short, I mean I never work 24 hours, so I left a message along with my payslip for the girls in the morning to give to him and he's got it.
But it's well over. I got the night porter to look at it and even he can't work it out, I mean I might be a little minus in my holiday on my next wage slip as I had 6 and a half days and obviously they only pay in whole days, even if I add days for holidays on for what I got paid it doesn't work out.
Just been on the phone to work, bloody hell people panic over the most stupid things and ring up, I did too at first and now I laugh at myself, it's a learning curve though, often the only way to learn. I got paid a shit load of holiday pay when I was off, I only had 6 days to be paid for as that's all I'd collected for holiday days. I swear it's not right.
You know what I'm sharper than before and can do a million things at a time a lot calmer than before, not only that I've also picked up on more things from the last two shifts, I only learn these things from pissing about on the computer, I mean even my leader doesn't know some of what I do and asks me for help on things on most of our change-over shifts. Sorry, now my head's not going to fit through the door.
It's been really hot here, will be tomorrow too and I will be stuck inside too. I had a lovely night at work same as today, it was busy and chaotic but it was controlled chaos so that's OK. I missed my friends at work more than I ever thought I would.
