    Tilling and cultivating my backyard area... the soil looks sufficiently rich and dark, I may just put my pepper plants directly in the soil instead of putting them in pots...

    *because the house would protect it as well. And the seabreeze I get most days, also moderates the temps such that, MAYBE I'd get 10-12 days of low 90's, but otherwise I'd get mid-80's in summer and mid to high 70's in winter...

    And as as germination goes, I have a covered patio and several shelves that get a couple hours' of sun a day, so they immediately get hardened off to the temps, and get natural sunlight & wind just like my plants

    i was all over today. in two counties. thp was down until 1 or so. i could check anything else.

    Well that sucks... my laptop died on me tonight. It had a good run for a laptop, 4 years, which is ancient, especially for an IT guy such as myself :)

    And this had to happen two day before my trip to Disney! I'm lucky that the memory card in my my camera can hold 7,000+ pictures, and the one for my video cam can hold 12 hours of HD video, so it's not like I'll have to skimp on pictures and videos... :)

    It's a solo trip actually :) I have an Annual Pass, and the hankering to use it. My buddy (who's worked at Disney since 1998) hooked me up with a great room on one of the Disney hotels at a great price. Plus, Disney tends to be a good luck charm for me as far as my plants go, since every time I go, my plants always seem to do well :)

    Just finished filing for my LLC on LegalZoom, and they'll be submitting all the paperwork and legal stuff for me in the next week, as well as all the necessary stuff to sign and get a bank account set up

    Beyond that, I'd have to also do a ton of paperwork for county, local, federal, etc., and that doesn't even cover things like the federal EIN I need and other stuff, so the convenience of LegalZoom, and the fact I could use all the fill-in-the-blank stuff is well worth it, as well as the legal consultations I'd be able to get :)

    The waiting is torture... So far, I'm only getting 1-2 peppers a day to change color, and would like them all to do so before selling them to my waiting list :)

    A 2nd pod has fully changed color already, literally overnight. When it was said on here the color change is quick, they weren't kidding!

    Very cool, a friend of mine is buying 4 bottles of sauce from me, two now from the batch I made from Judy's peppers not too long ago, and two more when I have enough to make a batch of my own. She'll be paying me completely up front, shipping included...

    Bummer :( Just had to clean out my car because two of my bottles of BBQ sauce (one spicy and one sweet), broke inside, and now my car smells of BBQ sauce. Gotta take it to the detailer sometime

    Don't take it to the dealer to clean it. Smoke some brisket and sausage inside your car and it'll smell really guud!

    I avoid taking it to the dealer like the plague... There's a car detailer downtown that very good. He's not cheap, but the stuff he does is incredible!

    My old high school teach bought two bottles of sauce off me and said while it was incredibly hot (he only tried a small dab on the tip of his finger), it had a lot of awesome taste to it as well.
