Josh, I think the SHAPE is trying to be a Douglah, but certainly not the texture. I agree, maybe a cross or wrong seeds. I'll eat it today and report back.

Last year we got a HARD freeze prior to any ripening fruits! :( I got my seeds from Novacastrian last Feb.
