    chinense California Reaper?

So I stumbled on this on twitter today. http://www.tyler-farms.com/california-reaper-pepper-seeds/  This is apparently a cross of a Carolina Reaper and Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion.  Sounds like a really tasty pepper. Hope this hasn't been posted already.

    Help identifying deficiency

Need some help tracking down what is missing with my hydroponic habanero plant.  Lately I've been seeing leaves like this.  Still fairly random and overall plant health looks good.  Solution is at a pH of 6.0 at 70 Fahrenheit.  I first thought potassium since the solution was running lean on...

Two distinct phenos on one plant?

One of my chocolate moruga scorpions which produced on pheno pods all season recently produced one very different pod.   Here you can see both pods on the same plant (sort of).   A slightly closer shot.   I've never seen this before.  Is this normal?

    Demand in Canada

There seems to be little production in Canada at this time.  Buying fresh pods is very difficult and since buying from the USA requires a lot of paper work on both ends it makes it near impossible for a small business.  So I am wondering is the demand to small to generate production or is the...

heat Best way to temper heat without changing the flavour too much?

Ask the title says.  My wife loves the taste of habaneros but not so much the heat.  I've tried adding pineapple, mango, orange but they all seem to overpower the hab flavour.  Can anyone help?

Thought this was a scorpion while they were green

Now I don't know what it is.  Heat and flavour are very habanero.  All the pods look like this.  They ripen just like a hab, green > orange > red.  I did plant some habaneros this year but nothing that looked like this.

    Not a datil

So I got these off a plant I thought was a datil.  Forgot about it off in a flower bed.  Any ideas?       They are hot, too hot to be datil.  Very sweet and fruity but not citrus like datil.  Very pleasant tasting.

    vendor Peppernorth.com (Canada)

Recently placed an order with peppernorth.com for some seeds to start over the winter.  Processing was super fast and so was the shipping.  There was a small mistake with the order, a packet of seed was left out.  I contacted them and within an hour had a reply apologizing for the mistake and...

    Jamaican mushroom

I bought two plants that were labeled as Jamaican scotch bonnets this spring but as the fruit has matured they certainly aren't.  Turns out they are Jamaican mushrooms.  I have no experience at all with this variety.  Can anyone drop some info on taste, heat, etc.  Thanks.

Unknown C. Chinese ID help pls

I planted a lot of chiles this year and some lost their IDs along the way.  This one I can't figure out.  It is taking a long time for the fruit to ripen so it isn't helping me at all ;l.  I don't think it is a ghost.  It is beside one of my ghosts in the fourth picture and the leaves are not...

chinense Indian Bhut Jolokia vs N.A. Bhut Jolokia

A friend recently dropped off five bhuts that he grew from seed he brought back from India.  He bought fresh pods at a market in Jorhat apparently from some old man pushing a cart full of them.  He was very excited when he sent me the pictures.  The pods were the largest I've ever seen so I was...
