Not sure if this has been discussed before  but when cooking with chillies the whole house has to be abanndoned with everyone coughing their guts up because me or  the mrs is frying chillies. They seem to give off some kind of fumes that makes you cough like mad!!!!   Is there anyway to avoid...

What have I done wrong. It's been one god aweful year in the chilli growing dept in London. Normally I grow my chillies outdoors , but the weather has been so aweful I brought them indoors. The result of this, chillies that just arent hot ! What have I done wrong ???

Am I alone in thinking pepper spray extract is not healthy no matter what sauce you put it in. it makes your guts feel like they're on fire and is hell on earth when it comes out the other end yet its put in most of the chilli sauces we buy. I'm ranting as my guts are on fire as I ask myself...

Its all good an well all of us growing peppers/chillies but some ( especially Naga's ) have quite a sour taste ( and smell ) to them. After all ,you don't always want searing heat, because that can put lesser mortals off. Which peppers/ chillies, in your opinion, actually have a nice taste...
