    American cars and fuel economy

My car looks identical to this. $23K, 25ish MPG stock, about 10MPG now, 93 octane @$4/gal. Working on talking the wife into a Ford Raptor for a baby "hauler".... The car is becoming a bit too severe to cruise around in.

    2700k 1900lm 30w spiral cfl any good?

Those will work ok, it all depends on what kind of area you are trying to light up. These are a spot light type of bulb. Use these if you are concentrating light to a specific area. If you are lighting up a walled in growbox type area I would use this type of bulb so it dispenses light over the...

    Pods are not ripening

No. The flowers developing means that you have given the plant good growing conditions. It will continue to flower until that changes. That's a GOOD thing. The pods will ripen when they are ready......no other answer really. Some turn quick, some take their time. Just wait it out or you will...

    Seed trades etc.

Here's an idea to help keep you from getting the shaft. Even if it's for a free trade set a price, say $5 a species, and have the requestee PayPal you the money BEFORE you send out the goods. After you receive what you asked for in return pay them back the original amount. If the trade goes good...

Rats - They are eating my Foodarama Scotch Bonnets

I'd search the NW corner by your pots AJ. They could be hiding back in all that. "Bounce: You can deter mice and rats by placing sheets of Bounce Classic around the bags of seed, attached to stakes in the garden, or around stored equipment. The oleander fragrance in Bounce Classic repels...

Newbie grower needing a little help

http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pni7429-1.html#ONION Lots of pics of the buggers..... Looks like it would be an Onion or Western Flower Thrip that attacks peppers. Good luck and I hope the tea idea works. They are a PITA to get rid of from what I hear.

Newbie grower needing a little help

You do not need Cal/Mag IMO. Vegetation color is good, no yellowing from lack of nutrient take up. MG deficiency curls down if I'm correct. I believe this is a pest problem and I want to say thrips...... This is extreme, but notice the new growth suffers worse and the leaves all curl up at...
