    tsurrie's 2024 glog

Let's play. I will not grow much more peppers this season than last one, but it's going to be fun like always :) Let's hope for a decent grow. Last year was pretty good even with just 10 main plants - mostly habaneros. They are my favorite and they will play the main part in this season grow...

Here we go again... In fall, I got some seeds from SineNomine and decided to try and grow all of them and also a few from my previous season. PaulG also sent me seeds but the envelope stuck somewhere on the way. A shame for those nice seeds but let's hope they are growing somewhere else :)...

    Composted cow manure

I got some composted cow manure and tested it with my cheap pH meter. The readings show pH around 7,5 or even 8, which seems really high to me. Anyone has any experience with cow manure?   If the reading is right, I could pH-it the hell down with some lithuanian peat moss, I guess... ? Please...

seeds Three cotyledon seedling - what to expect ?

Hey fellow chiliheads....   I've got a three cotyledon seedling among my newborns and I'm wondering if you usually keep the plant or ditch it. Is there any reason the fruit from that plant wouldn't be true to it's roots?   Thanks.
