9/11. I haven't forgotten.

Bager ,

I'm not going to get into a cuss cuss thing with you on this. I can understand your thoughts on what the GOVERNMENT of America has done to other people. I don't condone a lot of what my government has done.

I still stand fast by what I said. As far as I'm concerned those blood clots tossed the first stone into my world. If you feel it was a good thing that they dumped in America's yard you can. I don't .

Peace ,
P. Dreadie

I will close this thread if I have to........Please feel free to say something about 9/11 but please don't get political....If you want to know what I think is political.....

The last few posts are pretty close to the mark.....

That's the point buddy, I don't think it was a good thing - that's why I said I don't condone it. What I'm trying to say is that Arab nations tend to stick together - you piss one off, you piss them all off and sooner or later they hit back. Believe me if I ever got my hands on the bastards who did this they'd suffer a nasty death. No disrespect to the US at all. Peace to you bro!

I'm with Badger in that I'm NOT trying to deal out any Poli-tricks. In fact I've never seen a poli-trickster any where I'd let my daughter go out with ..... if I had one.

I also wasn't trying to flame things up so to speak.

Peace ,

I would say that more to the point that the small minority of people do this not the 'arab nations' as a whole.

IMO, That really is an unfair assumption. I wouldn't say that 10's of million of arabs all hold a grudge against the US and there friends.

Nothing personal....We just all have our thoughts...

I was in Chacago filming a tv show with my mom on September 10th. My mom had to be at work the next day so they bumped up our schedual and flew us home that day.

9 hours after we landed, the attack started.

Whether you agree with the reaction to 9-11 or not, the purpose of TB's post is to recognize and remember the tragedy that occurred on that day and the heroes that stood up during and after the terrorists acts. It's not about politics, it's about the people that died and those that remained and lost loved ones.

Eactly.

I was preparing to leave to go to training class in Atlanta. I heard on the radio that we were under attack and thought, "What the hell are they talking about?" Turned on the TV and saw what was happening and my stomach knotted up as they showed a plane running into the first tower. They almost canceled the classes that day. I drove all the way to Georgia listening to the radio and seeing everyone lower the flags to half mast on the way was very touching. Ill never forget the day of September 11 how in the hell could you?

:mope:

I was sleeping when the first plane hit, I had just gotten off of mid shift. The wife woke me up soon after and in time to witness the second plane attack. I was stunned. Total disbelief. I never thought in a million years something like this would happen in the states. Man was I naive. I still cannot comprehend that another human being would be so callous about the killing of thousands of innocents and themselves.

IGGY, Although controversial Depleted Uranium ammo has not been proven to be the cause of the ailments you mention. TB should be the one concerned though. A-10s have been hosing the crap out of things in the Nevada desert for a long, long time and they were one of the first to use depleted uranium ammo.

Amen to that! I wouldn't trust a politician as far as I could spit one.

Ok I'm not wanting to get political. That wasn't the purpose here as I get it , it is to think about the sadness that happened thru most of world that day. The lives that were lost and the changes that happened world wide that day. Puree sadness and wickedness.

Having said that , it's darn hard not to feel like political and religious views didn't have something to do with this. I never disliked a Muslim until that day. I had always thought the core values of the Muslim faith were in line with my faith and views. ONE GOD and ONE LOVE. I'm sad to say after that day I felt they were weak hearts. Then my better judgement came back. I CAN'T and WON'T judge all Muslims by the actions of a few . A man is a man and should be judged by his actions. As an American it'd nice to get the same respect we seem to hand out freely.

I've been getting a lot of PM's from this thread. I thank you even tho you disagree with me. All I can say is I'm from the great country of Texas. I feel wicked is wicked . No matter who you feel tossed the first stone. Wrong is wrong !! Nuff said ...... this shouldn't be happening. PERIOD

Many people feel the US and a few countries are trying to dominate the world. That's the government not we the people. More than likely all of us could brake bread , eat a few chili peppers and line things out. What I see when it comes to to US and the rest of the is .... YES at times we try to get a better deal. But who doesn't . I hate this term but ...."it's BIZ bro "

My life is pretty darn good ! I do my work , I cook my food , my wife and friends love me. We can voice our opinion and talk it out without gloves or sticks. We've learned to not war with each other , at least not for long. As my own man when all I ever saw was the constant waring in the Middle East I stopped caring so much. Ghezzzzzz How long you assholes want to carry on this way !! I keep getting told to check out history. From all I've read these posses have been fighting from the written word all most. As a man I say STOP waring , learn to make , or grow what ever shit it takes to support yourself. Then when things happen else where in the world , like floods, or drought happen you could help.

I LOVE TEXAS and the USA. I weep for the lives lost that day. I weep for all lives lost since. On any side. And I give thanks for all my brothers , soldiers ...... solders from all sides who have fought to give me the ability to say this.

Peace ,
P. Dreadie

Nice post bud! You're right - a man should be judged by his actions. Most muslims are peaceful people and are sickened as much as anyone else by these maniacs who kill in the name of God. You can't judge an entire race or religion by the action of a few, and anyone who does is a moron who ain't worth talking to.

We should not forget that people of all religions died on 9/11, victims and fallen heroes alike. Companies and institutions from all over the world had their offices in WTC. Also muslims died in the planes, in Pentagon and in WTC. It was no attack of The Muslims against The Christians. It was an attack of some asshole coward extremists against the free world.

Exactly - these lunatics don't care who they kill ultimately. Muslims died in the 2 Islamist extremist attacks over here too.

I was on the way on get my snap on truck inspected when the 1st plane hit, got a cal from a friend, thought accident. !5 mins latter still on the road got another call then I knew. When I got to the shop, after 10 mins watching the tube in the lobby, the pentagon got hit , I was about 20 miles from it. I know alot of people that were on the road or nearby that saw it, so yes, it was a plane, not a missle.

The shop where I was, was about a mile and a half from NSA headquarters, I went outside when they said there was a plane loose in PA. I thought NSA could be a potential target , I was outside for about 5 mins when 2 F-15's flew over about 200 feet and they were getting it. I went back into the shop and within 5 mins of the F-15 flyby, the missing plane in PA had been declared down. I to this day am a firm believer the plane was taken out becuase of the crash scene they showed. JMHO The plane was doomed regardless, the terrorist could have flown the plane, however there is no way they could of landed it, the flight was doomed when they killed the pilots.

I went back home and cracked a bottle of Bacardi and watched the news for the rest of the day, I was very angry and wanted to re enlist. My roomate from the Air Force just went back to Iraq sept two weeks ago.

The situation is starting to get very bad, with the Afgans & Paki's. Iran may have nuke by years end......

I agree.....

May those who lost their lives rest in peace...May those who lost loved ones or friends be comforted.....May those who were behind the attacks BURN IN HELL.
