3.5” vs #100 gallon
Takes about 7 months or so. This is my latest plant out to date so we will see how it goes. I’ve decided to make a slight modification to my approach with these fabric bags, so will be interesting to see how this year compares to last.I had to make the conversion for the rest of the world: 380L. How long for the roots to take over the fabric pot?
At the moment, the weather in my region is cool and damp, so not exactly ideal for chillies.
The tomatoes are already taking a beating, so I hope the chillies will cope well over the next week before the good weather returns... maybe...
Let’s goooooo!!!!My chosen plant for the growdown. Still hoping it is not a cross. Got a stake on it now, not pictured. I do not have containers the size of Rich Blood's containers but I will give it a go.
The one lagging isn’t really lagging though. What’s happening in the root zone is why it will soon surpass the rest in that back up tray. Looking good!I may have to swap mine out
The back up plants are looking way more vigorous than the one i choose...
The one in the big pot is lagging behind..
Weather was disgusting for the last 2 month, no sun, lots of rain and not so warm. And they still predict rain for the two next weeks...
Aphids are brutal this year. That’s for sure. Have you tried diesel foliar application at a rate of 10:1 water? I heard that helps. Even better if you mix a little neem in too.
Current progress, battling aphids. The rain seems to make the treatment less effective.
