Most of those arnt metal bodeen loool
Actually HP they are all metal... Just a bit different than the metal that is out there today.
Got your grind , sludge, death, nu, symphonic, thrash, stoner, power, prog etc...
What Bodeen posted is classic metal.
In the end it's all metal!
Now go get your guitar and slam on some power chords... You can make em' sound like BTBAM or the Scorpions. It's all good bro!

Been a metal head since Ride the lightning and Master of Puppets. Used to be a devoted Sepultura fan, not so much these days.

How bout DRI, MOD, SOD. Overkill, Sick of it all. Anthrax, can go on and on.

these days been listening to alot of Decapitated and old Pink Floyd, think Live at Pompeii before Dark Side thats great stuff.

grew up on Metallica and Suicidal Tendancies. now I crank some FFDP, All That Remains, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, MushroomHead. high school years were mostly punk, Fugazi, Offspring, Rancid, Screeching Weasel, Operation Ivy, NOFX. i've had days listening to every other Genre out there. but it's hard not to go back to the roots (like Sepultura)

Dont get me wrong Brown I still pop in Beneath the Remains every now and again but Derrick aint Max!

As for some Suicidal, How will I laugh tomorrow is probably the best ST album of all time. Rocky George is one of the most talented guitarists that few people have heard off.

Used to have hair down to my butt back in the 80's I grew up
& sport a crew cut now but still listen to good music.

Ramones, Misfits, Glenn Danzig, & Motorhead fan

*bangs head like an idiot*

What are you doing playing metal with an Ibanez icon? I want to hear some Satriani or Vai coming from that fretboard mister! ;)

Carvin many old school metalheads like me started out back in the day with Ibanez RS440's. Economical, plus they didn't sound half bad really. Totally dig Satch and Vai though. Rock on people! Time to put on Rage for Order now.

RIght on Chewi!
I haven't listened to Queensrcyhe in a while... Really dig Chemical Youth (We are rebellion).
Need to get my Maiden fix on today too. Probably should start with Murders in the Rue Morgue!
