I.. retract my support for a hot-dog TD.
We already did sausage, where people made their own, so this should be strictly hot dogs. If that is the one we're doing. When you talk about the best hot dog it does not include other sausages. Keep it simple and focus on the toppings, cooking methods, etc.
Every hot dog is a sausage, not every sausage is a hot dog. I really don't think we have to define it! You know what it is!

How much culinary challenge is there in preparing a hot dog?
OK, everyone wants an easy-out. So, I'm in. But I also hope that it is made a point that it must be a hot dog! Not a sausage or kielbasa, maybe rules include the wrapper that says "HOT DOG" {or "wiener" if it's made by a German manufacturer.... }
And I'll probably use black pepper on my hot dog~ just be cause it annoys geeme!

Y'all so crazy. Hotdogs will all look alike 'cept for teh toppins' and bun. I say go for dim sum or tapas. I can dig it. Now dot it! Fondue...that is soooo tired.

TB- hot dawgs all look alike, but there are so many ways they can be used! Hot, cold, on a stick, kebobed, with beanies,
SOOO much more than just meat in a bun!
But,hey, I'm just givings props for what seems to be the majority vote here! I'd still like to see something more exciting, even if it is only take the blandest food imaginable and spice it up!
