The Purple Bhuts start out the same color I found out!

I have a tiny one on my plant. I highly doubt they will mirror a real Bhut in any way, but the pod color is so cool. I'm anxiously awaiting what happens as it grows bigger/matures.

Here's an update. Pods are going through the 5 color change as I had hoped. I couldn't be happier with the way this one plant is developing.

Purple to cream color to yellow to orange and then likely to red

Thats an unreal purple hue ... and the cream colour change is just as vibrant. Awesome work, I hope they taste as good as they look

Very doubtful since neither of the parents had much flavor. The goal for me has always been to get a long 5 color pod starting with the awesome purple, and so far so good.

Now its basically showing all colors, although I'm sure they will ripen to a darker red. The one pod is tagged because so far its the only one successfully isolated for purity
