ohh

and guess who got a bottle of BrewDog Tactical Nuclear Penguin for Christmas

<------------- this guy

100 bucks a bottle eep!

I got ahold of some Infinium today as well. Also a case of Founders Breakfast Stout. I would love to try tactical nuclear penguin, probably something like sippin brandy.

Infinium is a Biere Brut essentially. I can best describe it as brewed with beer ingredients, with an end result most similar to Champagne if that makes any sense Paul.

Two good new ones today! Short's Brewing Uber Goober and Short's Brewing Cup A Joe. An oatmeal stout with peanuts, and a cream stout with coffee. The Uber Goober is fantastic with moderate peanuty flavor. The Cup A Joe is not bad, but the coffee is so overwhelming, the base beer could be anything and you'd never notice.

I saw it the other day at the beer-gettin' place....I think it was about 20 bucks. Is that a decent price?

i sell it for 30 bucks, so yea 20 is a good price

So I got a little present in the mail yesterday

Jealous!

I have a fridge full of good ones right now, a lot I haven't had yet either. Nothing as scarce (or expensive) as Tactical Nuclear Penguin though...

I'm going to try and hit up your restaurant/bar this spring.

Well unfortunately I will not be there.

I leave for Chicago in February, and then im headed to Germany in April, then hopefully to Australia after that.

Wow! Well let me know when you get back.

I had a rare 3 beers tonight, normally it's one an evening for me.

Rogue Old Crustacean, Rogue Northwestern Ale, and Great Lakes Commodore Perry, all on tap :)

Actually kinda like Peroni myself.

Got a bottle of Infinium like it seems many of you other folks have. Screw champagne, I got beer! Lots of it.

I had a bottle of Infinium at midnight in lieu of champagne :)

Pretty good, very fruity, surprisingly good malt for that light of a beer. Not something I'd seek out at that price, but definitely worth the experience once.
