BEER!

My thoughts exactly on the Infinium. I started it a little before midnight since I was the one drinking the majority of it.

Tasted almost like a moscoto wine mated with a beer. Good. Not big on the price tag but still good.

Moscoto wine + beer is a great way to describe it.

At $10 a bottle, it would be a must-have, but at this price, it was an occasion-beer only.

I can't believe no posts here in a week!

Well last night I had some Oskar Blues Old Chub. Scotch ale in a can! Good stuff, and reasonably priced :)

Haven't bought anything snazzy this month. Went with the old faithful Killians. Probably one of the best big beers out there. And cheaper too!

I had the pleasure of judging a pretty good sized home-brew contest. All stouts in this competition! No bad ones at all, they varied from drinkable to excellent. The winner actually turned out to be a cream stout (3 out of 4 judges scored it highest too!). There were 3 truly excellent beers, the cream stout, an imperial, and an "American" stout.

Had some Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale last night. Almost like an amped up Killian's. Very good beer, and drinkable in large quantities :)

I had a RedHook Eisbock last night. Surprisingly good, although not your normal Eisbock. Tasted VERY similar to Great Lakes Nosferatu.

Having Jolly Pumpkin La Roja tonight. Wild ales are hit or miss for me, but this one is pretty darn good. Tastes sour, somewhat like black cherries, and very complex. Stronger head than usual for a wild ale as well, lots of legs for only 7% alcohol too.
