Well...my entry is postponed if it comes at all.

Ealier today, my wife was out in the arena working with a horse, and it plowed into her (head) at a full lope. We just got back from the ER...she has a concussion, and pulled muscles in her neck.

We had leftovers.

Scratch made buns, from my moms recipe:
Yeast, flour water etc ... but I added a roasted garlic/rosemary olive oil to the dough!

Burger:
Fresh ground american Kobe beef
Roasted poblano
Roasted Portabella mushrooms
Caramelized onions
AWESOME Rochefort blue cheese
Local butter crunch lettuce
7 pot Jonah BBQ sauce
fresh local bacon
Roasted garlic mayo

2 chocolate habaneros

5 jalapenos chopped only used a handfull on burger

roast beef

provolone,cheddar,havarti

dales,and seasoned salt

beef

and some Au Jus gravy





mixed beef with chocolate habs,and added seasoned salt and dales

two pattys of beef stuffed with cheddar cheese

smoked on grill with apple wood for 2 hours!!

put 2 pieces of havarti on bottom bun,,put 2 pieces of provolne on top bun. threw them on grill..

threw a quarter pound of sliced sauteed roast beef on burger

topped burger with chopped jalopenos,,,,then dumped a ladle of Au Jus on top of burger.......

Kat's got too much bread and a thick unripe mater. Other than that it be good.
 
I think it's interesting to see the different takes on what a patty "should" be - some thick, some thin, etc., etc. Variety is a good thing!

Ha - Just got to thinking about the PNW pack party animals - we'd better get some GOOD pics tomorrow!

Wow, good stuff. Here are some teasers. Official entry tomorrow. I had THP taste testers over here by way of Justaguy and Pepp3rFreak and lots of ingredients from multiple members. All adding up to a total cowgasm.
