Just went out back and picked some of my ingredients.
This is going to be great!

Prep photos. I know that I’m not gonna win with this, but it’s what I was hungry for so it’s what I made, and it was damn good.

Thousand island ingredients, May, ketchup, pickle, and T. Scorp.

Burger ingredients, imported Maasdam Swiss cheese, Jewish Rye bread, Thousand Island dressing, sauerkraut, and ground raw corned beef.

It’s corned beef that has not been cooked, AKA beef brined for 7 to 14 days in , water salt, brown sugar, and spices like; saltpeter, cinnamon, mustard seed, black pepper, cloves, allspice, bay leaves, ginger. Spices vary, this is Alton Browns, but I bought the corned beef from a local butcher, not exactly sure what he used.

I’ve been craving a Rueben for the last months or so, and said to myself:
Self - you know you only like a Rueben with finely shaved meat, so what would it be like as a burger?
Me - IDK let’s give it a try!
 
Well here goes nuthin!

Tomato
Rochefort blue cheese
Roasted garlic
Poblano for roasting
Local Butter-crunch lettuce
7-pot Jonah BBQ sauce (my own)
Portabella mushroom (to be grilled)
FRESH local bacon
FRESH - Custom ground KOBE BEEF
Scratch made garlic/rosemary buns !
