Saved all my carbs for beer!

Very nice entry grant!

I dunno, JHP - that was a serious question. Does that mean no one should ever put umbrellas in their drinks again? No SoFlo silly bands, either? Meh to food snobs.

Raw sage is very strong, many places fry the wholes leaves. I am not a food snob for the most part and many times my plates of food look like dog chow but taste orgasmic. Was just passing along some knowledge but it is like cheese on seafood, to each their own.

Thanks for the answer, JHP.

I realized I almost forgot the PoL for the second entry, so here's a few of the players.

Not the best pic and somehow the color is off - it's more red but looks orange on my monitor. That would be roasted/peeled aji cristal with deseeded white dragonfruit (much easier said than done!), a touch of lime juice, limoncello, tequila, and ginger syrup.

The drink bases are in the freezer, getting ready for some slushy chillin' tomorrow.

Ok went to the sto got my drank. My third in the Hop Hunter series from Sierra Nevada This one is brewed with distilled hop oil and it is friggen amazing! They have really outdun themselves with this hop series stuff. My first tri-tips on the Okky Joe very well may have been the best I've ever done.

THX for the inspiration folks. You are all Rockstars as far as I am concerned.

RUM MADE MY LOBSTER STRIP

This may have been the quickest TD i have done, kept the ingredients fresh, simple, tasty

Ingredients:

Lobster Tail
Australian Wagyu New York Strip

Parsley, Coriander, Basil all from the garden
1 white salad onion
3 cloves of garlic
Salt and Pepper to season
Sour Cream
EVOO

Poblanos
Cayenne
Green Chili

Okay so first thing to do was to grill the peppers over some lumpwood

These were then cleaned up and placed in a blender with the fresh herbs, salt, pepper and a good drench of EVOO, plus a little sour cream, pulsed to a nice consistency

Steak was coated in EVOO, then quickly seared over the charcoal, then placed indirect until it hit a nice Medium/Rare internal temp

Lobster was coated in butter and EVOO, then quickly grilled also.

Thats all.

Drink is spiced rum, mint and lemon lime and bitters

Ribs, wings and potato salad with a simple old fashioned

Brushed with mustard and rubbed with my spice blend:
