I like to let him out of his cage a lot and he chills 99% of the time. This 1% i guess he got spooked or something and flew off =/ I don't believe in depriving a bird of its flight feathers, so i guess it's my faultcypresshill1973 said:
empty cage
What happened to the bird?
I like to wait for it to chunk up so i can add it to the compost. The bird is probably way up in the trees somewhere. Best i can do is ask people around my island to notify me if they hear him. This has happened before when I was away at college and came home while he was 3 days missing and I found him in a tree near me and climbed up and got him. The irony is, i went out looking him yesterday and found a military macaw in a dead palm tree 60ft up.D3monic said:Should pressure wash the cage while he's on vacation. Have you contacted the local humane society in case anyone turns it in or calls that they found one?
thanks! that should be helpfulD3monic said:apparently there's a website called parrotalert.com as well

Coming off the back of a big week, I've been cruising the fermenting threads and getting some good ideas down, pottering around the house and gearing up for another one. Enjoying the show as always though!
