The definition is wrong, it should say likely, that's why someone quotes it for posterity. ;)
 
However I have no idea why grant thought it was an odd quote.
 
Some beers leave a little "pop rock" action on your tongue. OH do this a lot for me. I'm not a brewer so, I say tongue sizzle. Watch, it will be a thing. ;)
 
It's a lasting burn on the tongue and roof of mouth with aftertaste once the beer has been swallowed so it is not carbonation burn like coke or sprite. #sizzle
