I've had a bottle of The Abyss in the garage for ages now. Been saving it for the holidays. I think I'll crack it tonight.

I also picked up some new (locally brewed) stuff at the store yesterday, and I have a few crappy IPAs I brought back from Philly last week, visiting the in laws

We managed find a few bottles of Contraband Sparkling Riesling so we crack one tonight. Sub $20, but as good as stuff 4-5 times the price.

I squirrelled away a bomber of wellington extra terrestrial,
also have a
Omnipollo Prodromus Deep Fried Graham Cracked Chocolate Chunk Caramel Bar to crack into.

Fill in the gaps with that bulliet bourbon I just opened last night

See if you can get to a tap with the new batch of Asro Zombie DDH. It's seriously one of the best single IPAs I've had this year.

I can cap it (non-snob), which keeps it colder but yes, beer does not open up. But good for casual sipping if busy doing something.
But I can leave cap off (half-snob), in which case it's just a double-walled pint glass really, keeping it colder than a pint glass. Good for faster drinking but stays cold.
Or I can go full-snob with all the proper glasses.
 
I like having all the options.
