beer Being Crafty

Ceviche prepping, with this bad boy of a stout. Super strong oak character, from the barrels, with a solid base beer backbone. I liked it more than I thought I would.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not crazy about any beer I've had so far from MBC. "Lunch" and "Dinner" are the only other two I've had. "Dinner" gets a lot of talk, but I personally like "Lunch" better, and I didn't even think that was that great. This one is meh too. Different strokes, I guess

Look at all the freakin' "sediment" in the bottom of this bottle, from laying on its side in my fridge, lol

I grabbed 2 other MBC bottles of stuff I hadn't heard of or tried before too, so we'll see

Blueberry Obsession. 11.5% ABV. Really tasty brew. Blueberries are present on the nose, and aftertaste. Solid Imperial stout, I kinda wish it was the Bourbon Barrel Aged variant, but this one is still very good.

"This imperial stout with cocoa nibs and blueberries offers stunning blueberry notes derived from the combination of hundreds of pounds of dark roasted malts sourced from all over the world and ridiculous amounts of fresh blueberry"
