So I settled on this hoppy porter, Young Henrys Motorcycle Oil. Unknown alcohol content, not written on the can, which is unusual.

Not as hoppy as you would expect from a beer they call a "hoppy porter", but tasty none the less.
Definitely not the mouth feel that I was looking for with the stout.
Seems like it. Lactose (in beer, particularly sours) too. To tell you the truth, I can’t even taste the vanilla in this :shrug:boutros said:Are vanilla beans in everything lately or is it just me?

The ingredients list looked like there mightve been *too much shit going on* for this to actually work (taste good), but I was pleasantly surprised! Super refreshing when it was 147* out today, lol. Whatever. Anything over 85* is all the same to me
THAT*S what made up my mind, lol (that outweighed the ingredients list )boutros said:...the ABV looks good...
I hear ya. I Drink sours in the summer a lot and vanilla is in some of them. I dont taste it either and it isnt a cheap ingred... so wtf???MikeUSMC said:Seems like it. Lactose (in beer, particularly sours) too. To tell you the truth, I can’t even taste the vanilla in this

Makes it spicy?Ashen said:Vanilla actually can accentuate other flavours in a similar manner to salt.
Nah, man. No lactose, no sugar (that I can tell). I should*ve taken a pic in a glass. Pretty sure it*s pink. Wrapping up my 4th can right nowAshen said:That beer looks pretty awesome, anything about lactose or milk sugar on the label? That combo is just begging for it.
Smart people In my book, anything over 45*F (7.2*C) is *oppressive*, hahaha. I*ll take 45 and cloudy ALL YEAR LONG!Ashen said:My in-laws start complaining when it gets over 73f. Lol
