beer Being Crafty

Putting some cherry smoke on some short ribs while doing yardwork. :)

Sipping on a peach milkshake IPA by lake of bays.

I had a craving for a milk stout or a chocolate stout today, but couldn't find any locally made ones. Just to make a change from the home brew.

So I settled on this hoppy porter, Young Henrys Motorcycle Oil. Unknown alcohol content, not written on the can, which is unusual.

Not as hoppy as you would expect from a beer they call a "hoppy porter", but tasty none the less.

Definitely not the mouth feel that I was looking for with the stout.

The ingredients list looked like there mightve been *too much shit going on* for this to actually work (taste good), but I was pleasantly surprised! Super refreshing when it was 147* out today, lol. Whatever. Anything over 85* is all the same to me ;)

My in-laws start complaining when it gets over 73f. Lol

That beer looks pretty awesome, anything about lactose or milk sugar on the label? That combo is just begging for it.

Edit  That was freaky

Seems like it. Lactose (in beer, particularly sours) too. To tell you the truth, I can’t even taste the vanilla in this
