Frydad's Pretzel Burgers. Please Make This!!
Now I know 2 things for sure, with regards to ground beef sandwiches.
1 - The Smash Burger method is the best way, from a flavor standpoint...and it's the fastest!!
2 - There is no need to ever use any bun other than these pretzel buns!!!
I have made this pretzel knot recipe 4 times now, and every time I am blown away.
It is from a blog I found where this lady makes a different bread every day for a year, and chronicles the whole journey.

They are absolutely PERFECT as pretzel knots...I did the burger bun hack on my own! Please make a batch...and triple the recipe.

Pretzel Knots
I made smash burgers on the CI skillet with onions, S&P.
The bottom bun got "Original HOT Mister Mustard" (awesome stuff)
Double Patty, with Sharp Cheddar melted in.
Topped with Old Bay seasoned 'shrooms
Topped with a THICK tomato slice
The top bun got Dukes Mayo and some of RM's Smoked Habapeno Powder
This is going on my menu in my hypothetical restaurant!!!
