I can't agree. I think it depends on locale, though. They have a really wide selection, and they stock different grade items in different communities ...
 
In NYC, maybe they can't compete for the top end, so they don't enter it? ...
 
Here, you can get very good BH deli meat, and the COL is perfectly fucking high (as evidenced by the deli prices I showed the other day re: bison) ...

wow…you don't here many say that around the tri-state area.   They are loaded with sodium and preservatives, but seem to be the popular choice in this area.  We rarely eat cold cuts anymore.
