food Burgers? Hell Yeah!!

Diggin' it.
Odin's Crotch! That looks good!
WOW! That burger looks all sorts of right! The teriyaki did it for me...now I predict a Hawaiian Burger in my very near future!!!!!! YUM-O!!!
Thanks guys, the burger was great, my fiancé and I nearly inhaled them.

Hey Spokane, throw an extra one on there, I'll see you in 3 hours...
Got one left, and it has your name on it.

I didn't make it to the sliders.

There was a tornado.

An earthquake.

Locusts.

Sharks with frikkin' laser beams on their heads.

I see though I am not alone in my FAIL.

Meat freak and tsx with two very solid entries.
Mf, I like the simplicity and the Fresh toppings.
Maybe a smear of mayo and put that pepper between your buns!
Not like that!

Tsx, I like the teriyaki idea and the onion straws looked amazing..
Not sure I would like cheddar with teriyaki, but there was so much awesomeness in that burger I'll bet it was great!

Hope those were both warm ups for the throwdown.

I dunno what happened to Boar's Head - a number of years ago they had very tasty pastrami & corned beef. Now it's all salty and otherwise over-seasoned. Dunno if they were bought, but they went downhill in a hurry. Agree about their provolone - not great.

No deli provolone is great, it's not aged so it's soft and mild and easy for the slicer. But they should rename it.

Dietz & Watson makes a great roast beef, it's awesome for what you can get at the deli counter. It's actually got a red center, whilst Boar's Head is brown throughout with a touch of pink (more of a light brown). And yeah, not a fan in general.

But I have Italian places for the pork, ham, and cheeses.

Back to burgers.

Very nice char on that meat. Any other condiments on there? Tomato looks fresh as hell!

Thanks! It also had pickles, onion (also fresh from the garden), mayonaise and curry (a spicy ketchup not sure how you call it over there). Tomato is fresh but not from the garden yet, too early for ripe ones. The pepper did end up on the burger, just put it there for the picture too show ;) it was an Aci Sivri. Almost no heat but tasty when grilled.

So I was looking for the hamburger meat earlier when the wife informed me
that I had cooked burgers last night while in my drunken stupor. Thinking she
was pulling my leg, I checked my phone. Sure enough, she was right. As usual.

Apparently they must have been a little spicy!

So is it good or bad that even in a drunken stupor bordering on blacking out
I can somehow remember to photograph my food?

Whats all that green crap on that burger?

RABBBIT FOOD!!!

Been a bit since I been on this thread. Looks like there's a lot of great burger makings going on. Can't wait for the TD.

Boss, TB, never realized the deli provolone was the cheap knock off of something that might actually taste good. Thanks for that, now I'll go out and buy the real deal :)

It's covered by weird green stuff.

No lettuce on burgers for me, that's a no no. That just gets limp and warm.

Na, all lettuce is poo poo on a burger. Diners always put L&T on the side and I toss it. I don't want a salad coming in between the bread and meat. Pickles and onions good. Cheese, better. Bacon, boom. Salad, hell no!

(A garden ripe tomato once in awhile depending on the burger)

Methinks frisee might be an interesting choice since it is not a huge leafy barrier. But I don't like the "greens" barrier.

+1000

No lettuce.

Not on my burger.

Not on my taco.

For salad only, otherwise...

THROW IT ON THE GROUND!
