Makes american style goulash.
She did.
And I had leftovers.
Which I added more ground beef.
Garlic.
Pequins.
I added crushed tomato.
More paprika.
And parm scheeeze.
Tossed in some home made pickled xalapas.
Have mercy!

Here is one of my low-fat (uhmm) low sodium favorites.... oh man!!! 
had this 2 nights ago but never posted it till now. hot italian sausage sliced into bite sized pieces and cast ironed till toasted crispy. thin mixed into mac & cheese and topped with serrano powder.

Cooked with cheapness chile powder.

What to do?

Shredded scheddar.
A little heavy cream.

Add some fine cotilla.
Cebolla verde.
Mango hab sauce.

Dried Vietnamese chillies, Korean dried seaweed, sesame seeds, salt, msg.
Mortar and pestle to bind.
Oven roast peanuts. Toss through neutral oil to just coat. Toss through spice mix. Back to oven turned off 2 minutes.

I believe I was once was told that Americans mistake the Hungarian dish Paprikash for the dish Goulash. So when you order food at a Hungarian restaurant or ask for goulash, you don't end up getting what you thought you were asking for. So instead that you should by default ask for Paprikash. Does this sound accurate?
