I almost brought home Greenflash's Mosaic IPA earlier, but I had to keep my bill of sale down today, after 5-6 days of consecutive beer runs, lol ...

What's the mosaic flavor like?

I have a terrible palate Grant.  I just know if I like it or I don't.  It probably most resembles Grapefruit Sculpin.

I read people's descriptions of peppers, and I do not taste or perceive any of the single descriptive flavors.  Same with beer and same with cigars.   I could never deconstruct something that I have eaten or drank into single ingredients.  I can, however, follow a recipe with the best of them.

I cracked open another one to give it another shot…definitely grapefruit tones…but that is all I detect.

Sorry I am not more of a help.

I feel the same way, don't sell yourself short ;)

Half-way through the glass, I note:

Definite chance of migraine.

I don't fear MSG etc, but I have a track record of champagne -> migraine ... so we'll see ...

Taste is sweet, imminently quaffable, but ultimately not as rewarding as beer ... not at all, really ...

A couple of new beers for me last night.  Both equally delicious.  The Hop Hunter uses hop oil to intensely flavour the IPA - note this is flavour not bitterness.  After 2 it was actually a bit cloying but it is still a great beer.  Just not a sessional one.

Knob Creek kind of night with some grilled Bambi...maybe back to beer tomorrow :)
I went to find the sierra nevada hop hunter yesterday and gravitated to the bourbon.  Picked up a bottle of wild turkey rare breed.  at 56.4% barrel strength I am looking forward to trying it.

Mikey likes it!!!

From what I can find it is a single malt - Golden Promise- and a single hop beer - Mosaic.
Awesome looking beer.  I love mosaic hops.  I think it works best in combination with other hops, but I haven't met a Founders I haven't liked so looking forward to tasting this one.  Our major local grog shop started carrying Founders a few months back, so it should be in stock here soon too.

I get a combination of blueberry, grapefruit without the tartness and kiwi fruit, I appreciate the last of which probably isn't helpful. It isn't strong citrus but more rounded and rich is the best way to describe it.

Did someone post Funky Buddah Nib Smuggler? ...

I saw it at the store yesterday, but I wanted to check out some opinion before picking any up ...

You can go drink all the releases there, though! ...
It ran out quick up here. I guess being closer to Chicago there's more awareness? Sucks for me.

Total stock, though ... I'm deep in stout right now, lol ...
