Had a little bit of JayT's stout ...

It's great, or not, I really can't tell ... but I enjoy drinking it.

Next, I'll disagree w/ 1010 - LH's Wake Up Dead Nitro Imperial Stout is right down the center of my alley ...

It's got a really persistent head ...

And the edges cast a nice color, although it's hard to capture n a smartphone picture ...

At 10%+, it's a great beer for me ...

Up next ... my own Red-Eye, an Eis-Imperial IPA ...

... which is probably the beer I'm happiest with, truth be told.

Just started a week long antibiotic prescription....do you adhere to the no alcohol while on meds policy?

If it's amoxicillin or penicillin definitely don't drink much on it ...

For most synthetics a beer would be no problem, but I still don't usually bother if I'm sick ... I mean ...

Amoxicillin....going to make for a dull party Saturday night.

Yeah ...

So ...

There's a funny story about me waking up and getting told a story about how I decided to throw a Corona bottle over my shoulder from where I was cutting limes at the bar cabinet at the house, during a house party when I 1st moved in here w/ my old roomate ...

I had quite a few shots of Patron w/ my roommate's sister before people even came over, and I ended up getting "put to bed" within the 1st hour of the party, after I made my way to my bathroom and washed my face and curled up on the floor ...

Why? ... I'd been on Amoxicillin for 6 days getting ready to have a crown, and didn't think of it, because I wasn't sick - it was for the dental work ...

I think it's just that it ties up one's organs, making it difficult for the body to get the alcohol processed ...
