D3's 2016 Growlog

Well 2016 is already fast approaching and it's time to start thinking about what to grow this coming year. Last year I started seeds in mid Dec and was running out of room for plants by the time plant out finally came. I think this year I will start the majority in January. 
 
I was going through my seeds to send to a few and figured it was time to start formulating a list of what I want to grow. 
There was a lot that I grew 2015 that while ok, I didn't see myself growing again and a few that definitaly made the grow list again. a few off the top my head being paper lantern, baha goats and moa bonnets. Just the right heat levels and great as smoked powders.

I bought a bunch of bird netting last year for the same reason, once the plants get tall enough it's not an issue. Damn grackles and other raven like birds.

Damn rabbits keep getting into my strawberries too.

I'm right with ya on the critter issues.
 
All they do is teach me how to keep them at bay. I have a major restructure coming at the end of the season for the grow area.
 
Bird netting has saved our mater crop this year. They usually don't hit the peppers, maybe cuz we have "mater bait"

Lots of pods on the "peach bhut" that most likely is a accidental cross. Hopefully they taste good because this going to be a big producer this summer

it's had lots of flowers but they all falling off so far. Omni color the only one in greenhouse setting pods.

+1 on #297! Have you grown Aji Omnicolors before? Yours look like they've already started to sprawl and will take up at least 3x more space by then end of the season than they do now unless you prune them back a bit. All nice and healthy though, and lots O' pods... great job!

yea this is my second or third year growing them. The one in the pot is already much larger than the ones in the ground past 2 years. Omni color will always be a staple in my garden.
