Dog or Cat?

Spiders are out.

I hate them, I'm probably going to wait until my first semester of college is done to see if I have the "energy" to take care of a dog.

I vote for a good German Shepherd. They are loyal beyond belief.
Had one, she was my buddy but she died of old age. If I could get a Shepard I would have one by now but our landlord is a dick head and will not allow us to have more then a 25 pound dog.

I do have pepper plants growing but all they going to do is to bite you back LOL.

I could get a wife :hide:

What about a wife who already has a dog and a cat? You wouldn't have to decide for cat or dog and she would be responsible...;)

Either way you're gonna need a muzzle.
Jeese you guys I'm only teasing about the wife, It would be cool if I got married but I don't see that happening any time soon "by choice" College is first and far-most. But I'm only allowed to have a cat or a dog not both.

Are you allowed to have a wife? Better read the regulations...

We have one registered Pom but only because her owners gave her away.

There is something you should know as well. You can find pure bred dogs at shelters. Finding the specific breed you want can be difficult though and may mean taking a long drive out of state to get what you want. Not the most practical move but if you want a pure bred dog and still want to get your dog from the pound it isn't always impossible.

 I told my wife about this thread and she asked me to tell you, that you won't find a wife in the weight category of 25 pounds!

* WARNING * PUPPIES CHEW THE F*** OUT OF STUFF AND PEE EVERYWHERE.

CD you make another good point. The more inconsistent you are with training them the longer they will continue this behavior. What my family has done with our dogs over the years is keep them strictly in the kitchen at the start of their potty training. We have linoleum flooring and this makes cleaning up accidents a lot easier. What is important is to take them out regularly and you will avoid a lot of accidents.

Your right Josh, They will tear stuff u[ so I was planing on getting old cushions that he/she can chew on and train him/her to only chew on that cushion!

Well I would suggest getting dog specific chew toys. Only because if you give them old cushions they might think your couch cushions are the same thing.
