Good Morning, everyone. It doesn't seem like Friday as we've had 2 days with no school and many stores closed with no power. Hopefully today we will be getting back to some sort of normalcy.

Hello, all. Doing a bit of catch up reading, now that I'm back in PA, have unpacked, winterized the coach and moved back into the house. Needed to spend a couple of extra days on Hilton Head Island visiting friends, as there was too much snow in front of the pole building to back the coach in. The ride home was interesting. The Jeep was packed with plants and seedlings and we hit 17°F one night coming back. A very long extension cord and a small space heater kept it above 45°F overnight and solar heating through the sunroof and windows kept them toasty during the day. Didn't lose one plant! That's 17 potted plants, 5 orchids and three flats of seedlings.
Sic, sorry to hear about the truck. Hope it's found and returned soon, intact.

Good morning everyone. Happy St. Paddy's Day. Wear some green or youll get pinched! Dont know where that tradition originated.
Sunny week ahead, a nice change from last week. Spring WILL come. My garlic was starting to show, but with the snow cover, I will have to check in another week to see if it is OK.

And I guess I should go see if my garlic is doing anything! Gip hooked it up with a box of cloves in the fall, and I planted some regular garlic from the farmers market. Never grown it before, but I am super excited.

Going to be another chilly one today, high of 35. no major plans again. I think I might get use to this retirement thing, except my honeydew list isn't getting any shorter.
I'll also be on pest watch...….last night when I was turning of the grow lights, something very small flew by...wish me luck.

Some of the tops look like they might have had some snow on them, and some haven't popped through the mulch where it was thicker. But the ones around the outside have less mulch and it looks like they are all up.
White bean pizza crust? Where is the recipe? Lol.
