off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good Monday morning all  :)

46°F/8°C here this morning, nights temps here are still low   around 39°/4°
The lawn is greening up, the tulips are poking up, the garlic is poking up, daylilllies are greening up and ahead of the garlics
(it appears we had squirrels or mice or voles ? Something tunneling through the mulch feasting on my garlic and shallot bulbs all winter  so I won't have the 100+ garlic I planted  , but i should still have plenty)

Between plane trips, and road trips, and funerals  :(  I have not been home enough this spring. I have a lot of catching up to do now.
I feel like i'm behind on everything in the gardens.

I do have a couple nice pics of Crazy Horse Memorial, and Mt Rushmore, and some Goats though  :)

hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and wish you all a wonderful week starting with this magnificent Monday
remember S.M.I.L.E. :D
and be excellent to each other

Good morning everyone. Only 3 inches of snow yesterday, but the low temps are still close to freezing. Plant out will probably be closer to the middle of May and later. I am struggling with aphids at the moment - hopefully I am now in command wrt them.

Garlic is looking great. GIP - we had voles 2 years ago when I lost most of the beets and carrots, hostas and other flower roots. We tried the recommended vole-reduction-granules. The only thing that worked were LOTS of mouse traps. Best of luck with them as they can definitely ruin a garden.

All the best to everyone for a bountiful garden. Sure does take a lot of work!

Good morning everyone. The sun is finally out for a bit, though the ground is quite soggy. Time for some hot coffee and oatmeal before I head out. We are having the lawn aerated today so the rain/snow will help with that.

Have a productive day, drive safely in your travels, remember to take time for yourself.
