off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

119.24 miles yesterday. So are plans for where we were crashing in Pensacola fell through. We decided to just start riding back home then. Yesterday was supposed to be a easy day then a full day of rest but it turned into 119.24 miles of head wind and a wore out body. So today we will be riding 60 miles to Perry, relaxing and recovering. Then tomorrow 170 miles back to home. Hopefully tomorrow the winds are in our favor. Hope everyone is having a great day. Be kind, be nice, be tough. Good morning.

Good morning.  Working the son's car problems this morning.  It seems like it never ends.  It's always something  .  Taking the wife out for BBQ for her birthday.  Made Reaper and Chocolate Scorpion powders yesterday so we're done processing for now  .  Packaged up as many seeds as I could but ran out of envelopes and need to order some more.  I think I've got 5 more varieties to package.  Got a few winterizing chores to do and hopefully I'll be able watch a little college football today.  Need to re-stock the beer fridge too !  It's going to be a busier day than I thought!  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. Safe journey home, Sic, that sure is a lot of traveling miles. Vaya con Dios.

Happy birthday to Harry’s wife - hubby’s birthday is today so we are going up the hill to the casinos for lunch - before another storm rears it’s head. Tomorrow is celebration with the family at a nice restaurant.

Enjoy your day and keep loved ones close.

Good snowy morning! This predicted storm is supposed to last 3 (?) days. Thanks for hubby's birthday greetings, Sic. We had a nice day before the storm.

Hope your day goes well. Ride safely, Sic. That was surely a long ride. Who else rode with you?

Stay healthy and enjoy the weather.

My buddy Chris rode with me Catherine. Yesterday was 119.66 miles giving us 699.23 miles at a 17.4 mph average for the trip with 11,204 feet of climbing I'm a little beat up but I'll make it. Several saddle sores and lots of sore muscles. Definitely taking it easy today. Have a wonderful day and good morning.

Good morning everyone. Snow. And more snow, so I hope Harry gets a bit of this weather to cover his garden. Right now the temp is 15*F/-9*C. Luckily the snow is insulating the beets and carrots left in the garden.

Sic’s new bike is beautiful, with all the bells and whistles for a comfortable ride. 700 miles was a very long journey, congrats on that accomplishment and glad you got home safely. Now you are ready for the Colorado mountains . . . . after the snow.

GIP, that quesadilla looks yummy to share, soup sounds like the norm for the rest of October here in CO. Hope you all have a great day. Stay healthy and keep those loved ones safe.

good morning all :)

hope everyone is ready for a wonderful Wednesday

i made chicken taco salad (always lots of leftovers for more taco salad or chicken burritos the rest of the week)

I blackened the corn and diced shallots a lot more than previously so it came out darker, but i think tastier too  :drooling:

carving pumpkins during freetime later this evening :)

hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday
stay warm, stay safe, and be excellent to each other

Good morning.  Happy Halloween.  Took 1st in yesterday's Chile Cook-off at the office with my Pork Chile Verde.  There were 12 entries.  Won $25 (which covered the cost to make it) .  The roads were treacherous this morning.  Lots of black ice and idiot drivers.  I saw several serious wrecks on the way to the office.  Full office schedule today.   Be safe and be good.
