I got 4 rows (i think 72 cloves, but i lost count so not certain) of garlic planted in the raised bed yesterday  :party:
 Daytime weather here has been in the 60's Fahrenheit during the days, with night temps in low 40's, supposed to rain tomorrow and Tuesday 
I need to get to the garden center and pick up some organic bone meal, i figure if it works good for my bulbs it might work good for Garlic ?
last year i just used a little Espoma organic garden tone and it did pretty good, but the garlic heads weren't as big as the previous year  :?:  :think:
I tend to underfeed my plants even though using organic fertilizers  :neutral:
 
Sundays have been Waffle breakfasts in the G.I.P. household lately, and were having them again this morning  :dance:

Good morning everyone. What a beautiful dog, GIP. His eyes show his kindness. Busy day yesterday with errands and in the kitchen. LOTS more fun with Harrys peppers today. The mtns. should get snow while we probably stay dry as usual.

Yay for GIP getting the garlic in . I dont usually fertilize until February or when I see the beginning of growth.
 
Good morning everyone. Very nice gift for the wife, Sic, enjoy every minute of the bike ride with her. Thanks to Harry, I have been dehydrating beautiful peppers to use for at least a year. He must have a magic wand.

Today is a busy day gathering leaves for next year’s garden, Harry’s peppers, sharing a love seat with a friend as we will be getting a new one, and actually working in the home garden.

raining and 42F/5C here this morning, only supposed to get up to 47/8 this afternoon
 
made a big pot of white great northern bean soup yesterday, used up the rest of the ham and the hambone for the stock. some carrots, celery, onion in there too
will probably have that again for lunch this cool afternoon  :drooling:
 
still got about half a table of peppers to process, many of them ripened up just fine here on the table at room temp :)

Good morning.  Last day in the DMV.  Got a 5:45 PM flight back to KC.  The WX is beautiful here and the trees have turned more than in KC. I've got meetings today until early afternoon.  Hopefully I'll only have to spend a half day in the office tomorrow.  Need to complete a bunch of chores and finish processing the last of the peppers.  The forecast is for a cool weekend back in KC.  Looks like it might be good working outside WX.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning everyone. The weather gals were correct with their snow forecast, though we did get more than they predicted - instead of the 1-3 in., we got close to 6-8 in. Time to help shovel as we are hoping for a new couch and loveseat delivery this morning. We will see if they change the day because of the snow.

Good afternoon everyone. I measured 7 in. of snow that is only on the grass now, with more predicted in a couple of days. Harry's peppers are just about all dehydrated, with seeds drying and making the house smell beautiful. We had a bit of cleaning up in the yard with the horrific winds tagging along with the snow. The broken tree limbs, leaves galore, and all around clean up were what we worked on the past couple of days.
