Good morning everyone and Happy Halloween. Harry - Congrats on your 1st place Pork Chile Verde - share the recipe?

Don’t think we will have many trick-or-treater kids tonight as the temps will be in the 20's and lower. I will be distributing soup to friends this AM and enjoying the colder weather inside though the sun is finally out.

Enjoy your day and drive defensively. The idiots seem to think they are always first in line.

Good morning.  My plate is full at the office today but I might be able to sneak out mid afternoon.  Our snow is pretty much gone and it's supposed be in low 50s today.  Not too many chores this weekend.  I always have wood to split.  I think we have the grand kids this weekend and I've got some football to watch.  Be safe and be good.

we had 22 trick-or-treaters last night.
Less than previous years, but it was kinda chilly out, it was 30F/-1C
 
The squirrels destroyed the jack-o-lanterns before our first trick-or-treaters even came :lol: curious to see whats left of them pumpkins this morning.

Good morning everyone. Busy day with a funeral and luncheon this AM, baking fruit bars for tonight’s presentation on a Veterans Memorial from a radio morning announcer. Yesterday we had tree guys trim 2 autumn purple ash trees and 1 peach tree that has survived multiple splits. The guys were here 3+ hours, in the cold temps. Best time to trim trees.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour tonight. The extra sleep will do a body good.

Good morning everyone. Busy week ahead with appts. and regular volunteering. The Saturday program about the CO Freedom Memorial was excellent and is one landmark I need to visit. Harry Dangler is way ahead, planning his 2020 garden already. I finally acquired a gardener to fill the space at the community garden. Now to meet with them.

Good morning everyone. Nice to have the sunrise early again along with daytime temps in the 40s. The new gardener wants to plant some of my garlic, so we are hoping for a dry spell for a few days. We’re getting ready for Thursday's craft fair.

Sorry for the boil water Harry, never had to do that here anyway. All the best to Sic on his training.

Bright and sunny here, not a cloud in the sky. temp is currently 28F/-2C 
 
about time to start sorting through my pubescens and wild seeds, and see which ones i'm going to grow for 2020 season
only kept 8 overwinters this year  :shocked: will probably try to clone some cuttings from them as well.

Good morning.  Sic .... I have no tolerance for burglars ..... it is sad.  Off/on it's a problem here.  Typically our outbuildings.  Big time Program Review this morning then back to normal.  Started getting in some seed orders .... that's always fun.  Got significant business travel coming up too.  The WX is great (near 60) but I hear it's going to get cold again later in the week.  Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning everyone. Sad the hear about thieves intruding on people's properties. On the news, they showed a Brinks truck being robbed by 3 masked guys, a very well planned event - only a few miles from us. I think the whole robbery took less than a minute.

I hope the day goes better for everyone. I was hoping to plant garlic with that new gardener, but the soil is way too wet right now. Maybe this weekend with hopefully drier weather.
