off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. We spent much of yesterday at the CG, finished pulling the plants, tilling some of it for the garlic today, and helping clean another gardener’s area. I’m still sore. “Grubby Saturday” at church today so I’ll help clean the grounds after garlic is planted. The pears are still waiting, small apples to dehydrate, peppers to pick and de-seed. Harry, what’s new in your kitchen? Still waiting for the workers . . .

Good morning. It's 65 on its way to 75. Storms are in progress right now. Severe WX is predicted for this afternoon. Today, our daughter and friends are coming down from Kansas City to watch the game. My wife is setting up a burger bar. It looks to be epic .... she even made the buns. I'll be on burger grilling duty. I didn't forget that today is my wife's birthday. I guess she's 29 again! Not much else is happpening. Catherinew .... the new kitchen stuff is: refinished cabinets, tile, paint and appliances. We're not letting the contractors start on the kitchen until they have the bathrooms completed. Good morning. Busy with chores yesterday and I am still sore. Getting old(er) is not easy. Happy Birthday to Harry's wife, 29 again is great. Not much going on today-we need to recover from garden/landscape stuff. The pears are still waiting . . . I need to make cookies for hubby.

wife and i are headed to the store to get stuff for subs. Going to be a lazy day for us. Rain last night and today and lots of work for the rest of the week so resting up, work load the next 4 days is insane. Enjoying these fall colors of summer,lol. Good morning.
 
Good morning. It's 43 on its way to 61. It should be another nice Fall day. I've got a totally slammed meeting schedule today. My wife has informed me that she's completed all of her garden work for this year. Everything that's left is now on my list to complete. I guess she got the garlic planted yesterday. The contractor's are making slow progress on Bathroom #2 and all that's left to do in Bathroom #1 is a few punch list items. I expect they'll start on the kitchen next week. I've still got a long list of stuff to complete before it gets too cold and there's always firewood to split. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. Today is hubby’s birthday so we’re spending a night at a casino and dinner up there with the kids. Yesterday the temp rose to 82*F so we got the home garden cleared and tilled. Still more to do, but at least that burden is complete. We are hoping for rain today from that huge storm in California, no significant rain here since July.

Good morning. It's 58 on its way to nowhere, raining and the wind is howling. 100% chance of rain. Today is supposed to be a total washout. Sic ..... wow that's cold .... be careful :rolleyes:. I've got a futbol match tonight but I don't know if I want to go out there and sit in the driving rain. Only 5 meetings on my schedule today .... not bad at all. Not sure what else we've got going on today. The remodelers are still here. The grandkiddos will be here for the weekend. Not much else is going on. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. Yesterday was windy and colder, blowing many of the leaves from their trees. The cat chased them, hoping they were grasshoppers. Nice birthday for hubby with a good meal with the kids, and some gambling for him. I was hoping for rain, but haven’t seen any yet. 57*F for Sic is quite cold, but we’ll take it here. Back down the mountain to normalcy soon.

Good morning. It's 50 on its way to 45. Horizontal blowing rain. Total washout day. Extremely busy meeting schedule today. 9 meetings on the schedule from 8-5. The remodelers are finally starting to make some progress. I expect that both bathrooms will be done early next week and then they'll start on the kitchen. It looks like I'll have to mow one more time this year. Hopefully I can work that in this weekend. I also need to put the final touches on the garden. The grandkids will be here tomorrow evening through Sunday evening. Not sure what else we've got going on. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. I wish we’d get some rain, but with 30*F low temps, it may be snow. Today and tomorrow look warm enough to rake the garden and plant garlic at home, then rake leaves. Not much else on the schedule. No workers yet.

Good morning. It's 48 on its way to 50 and still raining. I've got a busy meeting schedule until mid afternoon and then I'm shutting down. The grandkids will be here this evening through Sunday. I guess my wife has got all kinds of spooky fun stuff for the kiddos. I'd like to mow this afternoon but it doesn't look like the WX is going to cooperate. Tomorrow, I've got to finish up the garden tear out. I've also got seeds to bag up and label. I've got lots of other small jobs besides those. The remodelers got Bathroom #1 done and it looks to me like Bathroom #2 is 80% complete. I think my wife is picking up BBQ this evening. Not much else is happening. Adult beverages tonight. Fishing on Sunday. Be safe and be good.
 
Nice the contractors are getting work done. Big day of mowing its crazy windy so that will be fun. Puppy is really in a terror faze these days. One of her favorite things to do is launch herself into the tub and start tearing stuff up. Its actually pretty funny as its just a leap of faith. Yall be good and good morning.
 
Good morning. Beautiful day ahead, 70*F. The house workers finally started yesterday and hope to finish repairing the siding today. He talks about power washing the deck, painting the house, etc. The temps will soon be too cold to paint - we shall see. Glad to hear Harry’s home interior is doing well.
