off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's sunny 63F, on its way to 77F. Beautiful day. Now if it would just stay like that until September, ha. Laid low yesterday, as promised. Had plans for the garden this morning, but BIL's A/C quit working. Meeting the repairman over there this AM. Later, we'll sit with Mom while my brother goes to pick up my sister. She's flying in to visit Mom. Should be here by 1 AM 🥱. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe and have fun out there.
 
Morning chickens, hump day is here and it's another hot one. None of the promised storms or rain have materialised.
I snuck out early and hosed everything down - hah! Take that hot weather.
It's only 10 a.m. and already too hot to be out playing in the garden.
So that's it for today, book and hammock in the garden fighting off the bitey things.

Brother does his last day of radation today. I guess hes not doing real well and they had to give him more steroids so he can get out of bed. Sucks! Its 81 at the moment with a 75 dew point on its way to a 110 heat index but only real temp of 92. Its that darn humidity that is the problem. I need to water some things today and a couple other small chores. Playing guitar tonight with a buddy. Hope Rat is ok? Yall have a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning. 49F with WX saying 75F today, 80’s soon. Rain predicted, none here. Coffee group, then maybe a visit to the CG to pull weeds and check on bugs.
Sad to hear about your brother, Sic. He sure is young to be so burdened. Prayers for him and his family.

Hope your brother feels better, Sic. He’s just drained from the treatment. Needs rest and should feel better with time.

Been busy in the yard and finally got back on a sleep schedule. Had to force myself out of bed earlier and earlier. Been up since 5:00 and feel great. Rushing all my to do lists before knee scope next week. Going to see a friend tomorrow. 52 out and going to… I have know idea.

Good morning. It's overcast and 68F, on its way to 75. Scattered showers forecast throughout the day. We'll see - none yet. A/C fixed at BIL. Some gizmo was fried. They strongly suggest to at least start thinking about replacing the system. Unit's over 20 yo. 6K-8K. Just what we need! -- not. Sis didn't come in last night. Storms in Dallas cancelled the flight. Rescheduled for tomorrow, crack-a-dawn. Oh boy! -- not. Not sure what's on the plate for today, but I'm sure something will pop up. Hope everybody has a wacky-good Wednesday. So I was out early hoeing before the weather changed its mind, shopping and chores done before the heat.
Now I haven't got anything to do for the rest of the day :lol:

Have to go and refund some money to a crazy customer in the trailer park that broke contract because her new neighbor is going to mow her lawn. She called and screamed at my wife wanting to know what is wrong with us people because she hasnt received her check yet. She is lucky im even returning her money as legally I dont have to, we planned on mailing at bill cycle just like every other business but she can have it personally delivered by me. I cant wait till something happens and she thinks we will mow for her even once. They get fined 100 a week in our rainy season if they dont mow once a week as the grass grows so fast. I cut our yard 3 times a week during the summer so it looks decent. Thats how fast it grows. Anyways. Thanks for my brothers well wishes. really dont have much going on but Ill do something. I plan on playing guitar most of the afternoon. Have a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning. Looks like clouds and rain will actually find the ground. I’m didn’t get to the CG yesterday so maybe today I can find time. I’ve been slowly helping to weed the neighbor’s ‘garden’ since his wife passed. He must have a thousand+ morning glories that need to be gone, besides usual weeds. And then there’s crab or quack grass that has taken over. (His kids don’t care). I’ll do what I can.

Good morning. It's sunny and 55F, on its way to 81F. Calling for mostly sunny. Sounds like a good one. Sis didn't fly in this AM. She came down with something and couldn't travel. Hope to find out more today. Rain is forecast for most of next week, so need to wrap up getting the remaining plants in the ground. Need to prep a row for the okra starts also. Good morning. It's 60F (16C) on its way to 90F (32C). No rain in the forecast for today. Still a little groggy from getting home late from last night's ballgame. I've got a couple of things to do in the barn and then need to run a few errands locally. Got a call from a long-time buddy who is looking to get the "band back together" .... that means making a run at the City softball title again in our old age. I'm not sure I'm up for that .... sounds like injuries waiting to happen :) . Not much else is going on. Grilling something this evening but the boss hasn't advised what that might be. Whoops missed the morning - Afternoon all - Friday is here at long last.
Started work early this a.m. to keep the dogs cool and now the rest of the day is mine, all mine.
Not much else planned for today, need to move a tomato plant, which needs less heat, more shade and that's it.

Dont pull a hammy Harry. Its been a eventful morning. Keys to the barn and my trailer locks and things like that were lost. Found them in a locked room out at the barn that we keep air controlled which once I got into found the window unit seems to be broke? I found a spare key for room in work truck that I didnt know was there. Our oldest cat is hurt and bleeding, doesnt seem that he was attacked just hurt himself. Wife got sulfur put all over him and he is chilling. Ive got a big yard to mow and a small rock job. Guitar this afternoon. Have a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning. It's 68F on its way to 89F. Another hot-n-humid day. No rain in the forecast. Sic ..... Indeed .... Not just pulling a hammy. I politely declined the offer last night. I know several of the guys are in much worse shape than I am .... I just don't how to we'd be able to do it .... even in a 60+ league. Lots of critters out at night now. I saw possums and coyotes just last night while I was sitting out on the back porch. Today is watering day. It will take most of the day. It's our weekend for the grand kiddos. Hopeful to get some rain tomorrow night and maybe Sunday .... we'll see. Have a great day. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. Cooler day with WX saying rain, at least it’s cloudy. Coffee group, CG, then we’re visiting a meadery and most likely will purchase more of their wine. Making plans for Father’s Day to meet with the family. Not too much going on, which is nice.

Good morning. It's raining and 60F, on its way to 78F. Forecast says clouds and sun with a chance of a thunderstorm. I guess we got the thunderstorm part right now. Planted the last row of decrepit little tomato plants yesterday. It's sink or swim time for them. Not much planned for today. We need to run an errand or two, but nothing pressing. We had 2 earthquakes yesterday, 5.2 on the scale - the earth did move :lol:
Not much planned for today as temps will be 34C this afternoon - chores this a.m. and there's motoGP qualifying to watch this afty.

Harry you are only making it sound better. Im going to go find a 60+ league and become their biggest fan. Got some showers this morning which is welcome. Cat seems to be doing better? Im not positive one of these stupid dogs didnt knick him but boy do I have my eye on them. Also have my eye out for racoons/possums that Im going to dispense as something keeps getting in my trash. Not doing much today but that seems like the right thing. Have a great day and good morning.
