off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Hello Tuesday - it's been thunderbolts and lightning and rain most of the night - but no cooler out there.
Least I don't have to water today and the water butts have been topped up.
Work all day and let's see if I can stay out of embarrassing situations for the time being.
Have a good one - keep calm, cool, trouble-free and smile or even cry with laughter :D

Good morning. A big surprise box arrived last night with garden hots from KS. A very big thank you for such amazing peppers. CG chores, then a meeting, then other cleanup. The WX rain stayed north of us, so I have no excuse to get plants in the ground. Busier day than I’d planned.
Enjoy your day. Take it slow for sure, Sic. Don’t forget to enjoy Mother Nature and her colors.

Good morning. It's 66F on its way to 90F. Mostly cloudy with maybe a morning shower.
@ Catherinew - Enjoy the pods.
I've been informed that today is shopping day. We'll shop for stuff (mostly food items and home stuff) that my wife can't get in KS. That's about it. Nothing exciting. Mexican for lunch and beverages later on. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 67F, on its way to 86F. Same old chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon. Did the Dr thing yesterday. Glad he didn't speak any French :P. Also hit Margarita Monday....maybe a little too hard . Decided to make some room in the pantry in preparation for this year's sauces, so we took 2 dozen bottles to the restaurant and gave them to the employees. They were appreciative. Today is yet another Dr's appt. Then, maybe to the garden and start picking peppers. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Feel better Sic. Be safe out there and enjoy your friends and family.

Good morning.

Have some watering, mechanics and some backyard organizing.

Mushrooms are on Grand Mesa about, hour and half from my house. Not bad. Once of I70, the drive is nice. They are starting to disappear. It’s been a late season from what I hear. So I was luck to see what I’ve seen.

Need to move closer to the woods or in the woods. Can’t afford Colorado and the laws are sucking daily around here. It’s to much like California. I moved here to get away from California. Lol Maybe Kentucky, Tennessee or West Virginia. Which ever has the least humidity and mellowest Winters. 😂

Hope you all have a good day.

Feel better brother Sic. Wish I lived closer. Id help you work.

Chuck

Morning.

Just watching the sun come up and drinking some coffee. Black. No sugar.

Windshield replacement today and Soccer game.

Have a good day.

Good morning from the heart of Texas Hill Country. It's 70F on its way to 90F .... mostly cloudy and humid. Maybe a T-Storm this afternoon. More shopping this morning for stuff we can't get in KS  ..... then hopefully heading for pizza at my favorite pizza joint. That's about it ..... our last full day here. Beverages later on.
@ Catherinew - thanks for the kind words re: our pods.
Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 68F, on its way to 79F. Beautiful day. And, that's the forecast for the next 10 days or so. Excellent! Found out yesterday I was replacing the broken fluorescent light over the BIL's kitchen sink with an LED light. What a painful experience. It was an awkward angle to reach over the sink, and now my back hurts again. Then, after fighting the damn thing for an hour, I finally got it installed. Flipped the switch, it flickered a few times and then it STB, never to light again. So, I had enough of that for one day. I'll work on it again some day, just not today. Heading to the garden to pick peppers - finally. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and enjoy your harvests.

@Harry_Dangler - Hey Harry, I'm not sure where you are, but if you're in the vicinity of Early, you might want to plan a trip to Junior Urias's new place. I haven't been, but I've heard good things.

Here's a REVIEW from last year. I think things are even better now.
Thanks DR ... We are staying just outside of Kerrville, Texas. I Googled Junior's place. Unfortunately, we are about 140 miles south of there but on our trek back to KS, our route will take us due east of there by about an hour. It looks fabulous. I will mention it to the boss. Maybe a diversion on the way home  .

Morning all - Flirty Thursday has arrived, cool in the mornings, hot in the afternoons - it's starting to feel like autumn.
Been out harvesting peppers - will someone slap me next year when I start making "I'll just grow this one as an experiment" noises.
Chores and errands for later.
Have a good one - keep cool, calm, and don't plant too many peppers - and smile (as always) :D

Good morning. It's 70F on its way to 95F. We'll be rolling out of our condo mid-morning and starting the leisurely trek back to "God's Country". As normal, we're heading back home with a vehicle full of stuff (food and beverages ). I need to make it back home by mid-day tomorrow. Very early Saturday, I'm heading to my buddy's place in Columbia, MO and we'll be attending the KSU (my school) vs. Mizzou (his school) game .... looking forward to that. Have a quality day .... be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 58F, on its way to 79F. Beautiful day. Processed some tomato seeds yesterday. Always a pain. Still more to do. Also picked a tray of peppers yesterday. That's also gonna take some time, lol. Plan on processing yesterday's pickings this morning, then maybe back to pick another tray or two. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be careful out there and safe travels.

Good morning. Beautiful day for outside chores, 50-70F, with WX predicting rain at dinner time. I have lots of indoor projects planned for later, so I’d better get the sunshine ones done today. The first frost is slowly nearing, I just hope it’s later than in previous years.
Have a wonderful day. Enjoy the colors and coolness that Fall brings.
