off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 52F on its way to 88F. Office work this morning. Harvesting pods after that. What to do with 10 gallons of red jalapenos?
@ Catherine: Nothing like the smell of roasting chilis. I think I'll get out our drum roaster and roast some poblanos, cubanelles, Giuzeppis and Sandias. I might even throw a bunch of those red jalapenos in the roaster. That will keep me busy for a few hours. Not much else is going on. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. Lots to do outside while the weather is drier and sunny. I learned a lot with the wet and cooler months, and hope not to fall into the ‘usual’ routine of planting next year. Lots of changes to think about.

Need to do valve adjustment on the car and install a new distributor. We’ll see how ambitious I am today. Might need more coffee. Was up on the mountain yesterday. Nice fun hike.

Good morning. It's sunny and 58F, on its way to 76F. Another pretty day. We inventoried the pantry yesterday, throwing out those jars of whatever that got pushed all the way to the back a few too many years ago, lol. Wasn't too bad, thankfully. Today is an open slate. Not sure what's on the agenda, but it will be outside. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and hand out hugs freely.

Finished up harvesting the tomatoes at long last, so I'm jamming - to be truthful I pretty much hate making jams, love making pickles and chutneys, but the jamming is not for me, so last lot of tomato chilli jam is on the go. I put in extra chilli this time.
Helping Mr Tinks out with the fosse problem this p.m., he could live to regret asking for my help.

Good morning. Unexpected rains yesterday, so I want to check out any harvest at the CG. I’m ready to pull a lot of plants like the broccoli. They are still giving me shoots, but . . . The tomatoes are slowly ripening, as well as the peppers.

Good morning. It's sunny and 56F, on its way to 78F. Finally got around to mowing around the garden and weed-whacking the electric fence yesterday. Unfortunately, I literally weed-whacked the electric fence. Broke the wire. Had to go find the fence repairing stuff in the garage. That took a while, lol. Today is errands day - Dr's appointment, Wallyworld, pharmacy, etc. Happy anniversary to y'all Sic! Smelting? You going fishing, lol? Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Good morning. It's 61F on its way to 86F. Mostly sunny and humid. A bit of office work and then I might mow ..... we'll see. My wife is still processing pods from the last harvest. I will pick again tomorrow (WX permitting). There are still thousands of pods out there. Not much else is going on. Grilling and beverages later on. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. Beautiful Fall-feeling day, dry and sunny. I’m hoping to work on getting most of the peaches remaining from the fridge. Daughter wants roll ups. Hubby wants fruit crisp. I just want them gone.
Starting to take down a few tomato plants with their greenies. Everyone has their hand out this time of year.
Kudos to Mrs. Harry. She must be very busy in the kitchen.

Good morning.

This morning was early PT. Knee is getting stronger. Pain is still there. To young for a new knee and I’ll need a new knee if I continue doing mechanics or any labor work within the next 4-8 years. Have to think about a career change. Have know idea what to do. Oh well. I’ll figure it out when I get there.

Was late getting peaches. Couldn’t find any yesterday. I’ll check Facebook and see if there are some smaller farms that still have some. Tons of Apples out there. Good luck with the projects, Jane.

Had early walk in the mountains yesterday. It was fantastic! Really clears my mind getting out and away from people. Beautiful weather up there. Fresh air and peace and quiet. I’ve Ben going out twice a week. That keeps me sane right now until Winter comes. 🤮

Happy late Anniversary wishes, Sic. I’m not in possession of any knowledge of Smelting. What are you trying to extract?
It is interesting though. I have always been intrigued with metallurgy. I own a number of knives, hatchets and axes. Metal and the process in which they are made of fascinates me.

Not positive Chuck just seems like a cool hobby. Maybe make a igloo out of aluminum blocks,lol. I dont have anything to do today I mean theres a thousand things I should probably do but probably wont. Wife is going to help Carol with a few things. Probably go up to the bike shop for a bit and play guitar most of the day. Have a great day and good morning.
