off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. Cloudy and 41F, on its way to 59F. Chance of a shower or two today. Another nice day to stay inside, ha. Planning on processing a couple of ferments today, then starting a couple more. Will be firing up the dehydrator as well. Time to make some significant progress with processing all these pods. Then, we can go down to the garden and pick some more, lol. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there and eat more peppers!!

Good morning. The sun just crested the ridge and the dew is falling from the pine trees like rain. It's 42F, on its way to 67F. Should be a pretty day. The first Frost Advisory of the season has been issued for tonight, forecasting a low of 36F. The garden is located down in the bottom, and is usually about 4 degrees colder. That means 32F.:shocked: Looks like today might be THE big pick day, lol. We'll see. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and finish your harvesting before frost, lol.

Yesterday morning sucked. Drive 2hrs to be told they couldn’t install alarm on my car because I wasn’t on the schedule. I drove back to town, ran some errands and stopped to have a lite lunch. Met a beautiful girl at the restaurant. We hit it off. See where that goes. Took a drive up to the Mesa. Had a nice hike around this lake. Good hour and half. Wish I would have brought my fishing gear. After it was all said and done. It was a great day. So glad I wasn’t on the schedule. Met a cool girl and got a good hike around a beautiful place.

Good morning. Glean and pull plants in the CG with a new gardener this AM. She will be sharing my space next year so lots to talk about. We’re supposed to get a low temp of 28F either Thursday or Friday so it’s hurry and pick. Dumped a few wheelbarrows of leaves and leaf mold on part of the garden yesterday. More later. Meeting day, and lots to do.

Good morning. The sun's out and it's 39F, on its way to 68F. Should be a pretty day. Won't know if we had frost until I get to the garden. Picked a lot of peppers yesterday. Still some more to pick - hopefully. Need to run a few errands first, then down to the garden. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and keep dodging the frost.
 
Good morning. Rain last night, more today. Enough of the wet to keep me out of the garden for awhile. I pulled all of the puny beets yesterday and will let them be tilled in for the soil. Now to tackle what’s left at home. Freeze either tonight or Friday. Still have a few green tomatoes and cukes to pick. Good to see some green-to-red tomatoes.

Good morning. It's sunny and 51F, on its way to 73F. Another nice day. Didn't make it down to the garden yet. Don't know what's waiting for me. Need to run the errands we didn't do yesterday, then maybe to the garden. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and prep for the freeze that's coming.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 40F, on its way to 70F. Should clear and be sunny. The last 70F day for the rest of October, maybe the year. Fall is here and Winter is coming. Went to Harbor Freight yesterday. That's never good for the wallet. Plan on working on some sauces this morning, maybe garden this afternoon. Need to start prepping it for Winter. Hope everybody has a fantastic Friday. Be safe out there and dig out the long pants.
