off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 50F on its way to 56F. Cloudy, drizzly and windy. We won't be able to see the solar eclipse here. We're back from NM ..... it was a wind-blown 12 hour leisurely drive back. I think the high winds followed us back to NE KS. Good grief it's been windy. Not doing much today. Unpacking, laundry and football watching. I'm going to work on fly fishing tackle too. It's that time of year to get out on the rivers in MO. Either going to grill al pastor meat or I'm going to pick up some BBQ later on. Beverages this afternoon/evening. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's cloudy and 52F, on its way to 67F. Calling for breezy and a couple of showers. Went down to the garden yesterday. No frost as yet. Picked what few things were ripe. Still a lot of green down there. Also processed two more batches of hot sauce. Today I think I'm going to load up the dehydrator, so I can make some powders later on. Maybe watch some football this afternoon. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.
 
Good morning. It's cloudy and 52F, on its way to 58F. We ended up getting a little over .5" of rain yesterday. We need it; we're still in a "Moderate" drought situation here. Not much planned for the day. Maybe watch some NFL. Hope everybody has a restful and peaceful Sunday. Be safe out there and don't forget to get your malady shot(s).
 
Good morning.

Managed to get 185grams of processed mixed peppers. Scotch, Serrano, Jalepenos. I guess that’s it for the season. Everything is in full bloom. 32 out this morning. Was 28 the other day. Plants still not dead yet, but won’t be long. I’ll make some purée today.

Got some pickets to paint. Tidy up the house. Would watch some sports, but I’ve not had cable for the past 12 years. Waste of money. Don’t watch enough. Maybe I can steam something. Amazon Prime? Maybe.

Good morning. Cloudy and 49F, on its way to 56F. Chance of a shower or two. Loaded up the dehydrator yesterday. If it's done, might try another load today. Good morning. It's 40F on its way to 65F. It should be warm with lots of sun. No cable (because it doesn't exist out here) and no satellite TV (we dropped that when the DirecTV prices went ludicrous)! We do not miss it and haven't looked back. I think I will load up the dehydrator today too. Some small errands to run. It's that time of year to start thinking about health insurance again :banghead:! Plenty to do. I think it's tuna/noodle casserole later on. Be safe and be good. S.M.I.L.E.
 
Good morning. Indian Summer seems to be here for a week, so I’d better take advantage of warm temps. The CG is empty except for a few turnips I’m saving for a friend. Now to add leaves and some alpaca poo, and till tomorrow.

Glad I’m not the only one that ditched the cable. Tv rots your brain. I have Netflix and Amazon, but prefer to explore the real world.

Speaking of real world. Good job on the bike Señor Sic. I know it’s not the time you were looking for, but you will get there. Protein the next couple days.

I’m going for a walk. I’m down 4lbs. Need this knee pain to go away. Don’t think it will, but I’ll try everything I can.

I hear ya Sic. I’m slowly loosing. The problem with me is I can’t exercise like I want to. The knee issue. I’ve got a nutritionist to keep me on track. Everything I already know, but more like a coach this time.

My son has Soccer game today. I have doctors and some errands before the game.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 50F, on its way to 60F. Might see a little sun today. Started chopping peppers for another ferment yesterday. Will finish that today. Chance of a frost/freeze is coming up this weekend, so need to keep an eye on the garden. Need to harvest the butternuts. Maybe today. Also need to get the truck inspected. It expired 10/01. Oops.
