off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 58F on its way to 90F. Hot and windy. Have to take the big male cat in for another glucose curve and then later on we're taking the little female cat in for her check-up. It's an absolute mess getting her in/out of her cage. My wife can't do it without getting scratched up. I'll have to do it. I'll be working in the basement office most of the day. The dishwasher is dead. I checked it out. Need to get that taken care of this week. That's about it. Nothing exciting. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. Monday morning errands plus a couple more to get ready for the week. Busy week ahead with Halloween festivities and a birthday. The cat is itching to go outside and ‘hunt’. She gets bored in the house, but we have coyotes close so her outside time gets shorter and shorter now the summer is almost gone.

Good morning. It's sunny and 39F, on its way to 64F. Should be nice this afternoon. Not sure if it frosted down the hill or not. Will go down and check later. Picked a bucket full of misc pods yesterday, anticipating the frost. Now we're supposed to have a week or so of mild temps. Might have to pick another bucket full in a week or so. Several errands today, then home and play with peppers. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there and enjoy our day.

Me and my son are going to the movies today. It’s been a long time. Seeing Nightmare before Christmas on big screen. 30th Anniversary. I’m getting old. Lol

Need to pick up a scope from Cabelas and have some lunch. Lazy day. I’m sure I’ll work on something this evening.

Good morning. Sic-welcome to the world of the entitlement-gimmies. I deal with these kind of people too often, thinking what I grow or make is free-for-the-asking. I could write an essay (not a book). Don’t get me going . . .

A beautiful day ahead before the weekend dip in temps to the teens. Definitely a hard freeze. The leaves are almost completely ready for bagging as they just flew off the trees yesterday.

Meeting w/the gals this AM, then finishing pulling pole beans and raking leaves. Have a wonderful day. Stay healthy and safe.
 
Good morning. I'm a little late getting on-line this morning. Been wrapped up in some office work. Anyway, it's 67F on its way to 72F. Breezy with showers and T-Storms. Not much is going on. The forecast is crappy so I cancelled a fishing trip I had on the calendar for later in the week. The wife's house cat vet trips seemed to go well yesterday. Picking up BBQ for lunch and then processing pods for the dehydrator. Beverages later on. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's sunny and 46F, on its way to 74F. Beautiful day ahead. Late start this morning. Last night was Margarita Monday at the Mexican restaurant. 🤕 More pod processing for the dehydrator today as well. Still need to go check for frost damage. Maybe today. Need to do some outside maintenance in prep for Winter. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and don't forget to get your shot(s).

Quite a bit has happened lately, all good, including a holiday at La Rochelle, which was glorious, harvesting and processing loads and loads of peppers and then having to source a new oven, which I've just baked my first cakes in and, apart from a few tweaks, I think it works very well.
So I haven't really been up to anything exciting since I last posted, just sorting life out.
I do still have 6 pepper bushes to harvest *groan* but it's raining too hard to go out and play in the mud.
I'm still working with puppers and have a couple of very nervous females that I'm working on right now.
And now you're all up to date with me :lol:
Oh and it's pouring with rain and has been for the last week :(

So have a good Wednesday - keep dry, calm and smile :D

I plan on doing the exact same thing as yesterday - "More pod processing for the dehydrator today as well. Still need to go check for frost damage. Maybe today. Need to do some outside maintenance in prep for Winter." Great to hear from Tinker. Glad things are good. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and process more peppers!
 
Good morning. So nice to hear about Tink’s activities and know she’s doing great. We all need vacations. And rain. The ground is so dry, one of the guys at the CG called and said he had a difficult time trying to till his area. I drove up and saw his dilemma. It looked like a huge cube of clay. Hopefully he’ll listen and add leaves, etc. soon. I’m helping the new gardener plant garlic today before the freeze comes this weekend.

Good morning. The sun hasn't crested the ridge yet, but it's 43F, on its way to 79F. Calling for mostly sunny and warm. Another nice day. The garden hasn't frosted yet, and it looks like we have another 4 or 5 days before the next frost is forecast. Loaded up the dehydrator yesterday. If things are dry, might try to load it up again today, ha. Need to run a few errands first. Might try to cut the grass this afternoon. We'll see. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and have a good one.
