off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Merry Christmas and good morning. It's 36F on its way to 46F. Foggy. The house smells of ham and other goodies. Got a fire going .... it's nice and cozy in this little house on the prairie. Doesn't look like I won last night's lottery ..... damn :doh:! It's just the chef and I celebrating today. Futzing around this morning. Watching NFL this afternoon, feasting and sipping some wine. Good morning and a Merry Christmas to all! It's cloudy and 37F, on its way to 42F. Calling for clouds and sun today. Busy day prepping/fixing dinner. Mom/brother are coming over. Then, we'll sit own and eat way too much good food, ha. I hope everybody has a wonderful day, and enjoy the company of those you're with. Ho! Ho! Ho! 🎅
 
Good morning and Merry Christmas. 33-50F. It would be nice to have the festivities done, but like DR, we’re just starting and having the traditional food and gifts. Lots to do this AM. Yesterday daughter and I made 4 ‘batches’ of eggnog-pie-in-a-jar, with 4 different eggnogs (with and without alcohol). Actually we loved them all! Now to do the rest . . .

Good morning and Happy Boxing Day. It's 40F on its way to 53F. Low clouds and drizzle. Watching the Boxing Day matches for most of the day with some occasional futzing. Santa brought me some fishing tackle that I need to sort and put up. Spaghetti carbonara this evening. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's cloudy and 29F, on its way to 42F. Calling for mostly cloudy, but no rain. Yesterday was a long day, but a good one. Nice to have the family together. Today there's not much planned. I saw in the paper, a grocery store has a sale on bone-in prime rib - $4.99 a lb. Might have to go buy a few of those. Only problem is its 30-min away. I'll think about it, lol. Other than that, probably just chill today. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and enjoy those leftovers!
 
Good morning. 29-45, with a touch of rain yesterday. Nice family get together yesterday with too many gifts 😊. I’m starting to make turkey soup today to get some freezer space again. Leftovers for a week, so much food. I hope your holiday was enjoyable - did you receive any fun stuff? Hubby got pranked with a butt cleaner box containing a couple of shirts. That box will be used again!
Enjoy the calmer day today. Share the time with family and TV.
 
Good morning. It's cloudy and 26F, on its way to 44F. A couple of showers possible. Need to run some errands today, including a trip to WallyWorld. I hope it's not a "trip" (using the old hippy vernacular, lol). Home after that. Maybe some futzing in the basement a little. Hope everybody has a freaky good Friday. Be safe out there and start planning your trip to NYC to see the ball drop. I won't be there of course, but you be sure to have some fun, lol.
 
Good morning. It's 50F on its way to nowhere. Very foggy. Running errands this morning after a big breakfast. Probably watch some CFB bowl games and at least one soccer match. Futzing in the basement too. Tostadas this evening. @ DR: $4.99/lb bone-in prime rib is incredible. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's overcast and 39F, on its way to 55F. Calling for rain and drizzle all day. Looks like an inside day to me. WM wasn't bad at all yesterday. We did avoid the "Returns" area however. Not much planned for the day. Might just futz a little and watch some CFB NFL. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 31-49F with a bit of frost on the deck. It looks like a more relaxing day after the Christmas hype. I added more to the soup that is now in containers and in the freezer. Hubby said it’s time to give a few (!) away. No activities planned except maybe a run to ARC.

Good morning. Its 39F on its way to 56F. Foggy again. Maybe a shower. Can't complain. I'll probably watch some futbol this morning and some NFL this afternoon but I'm getting a little tired of it :rolleyes: . Might do some minor futzing around too. The kitchen refrigerator is full of leftovers, I've been given orders to consume as much as I can today. Ham, eggs and pie for breakfast. Might take a nap. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's 46F with patchy fog, on its way to 62F. Calling for periods of rain, some heavy, with a thunderstorm. Sounds like a day to stay inside. I think we're wrapping up leftovers as well - either eat it or freeze it, maybe toss it, lol. Then I think I'll shell some dried lima beans while watching some NFL. Good morning. 31-57F and sunny. End of year lunch with people hubby works with at a Mexican restaurant. Not fond of this place, but there’s always quesadillas. Can’t go wrong with these. Leftovers also here, time to invite daughter’s friend to empty the fridge (!).
