Good morning. Another fine day in store for the heartland. Leaving the office at noon today! Got some errands this afternoon and some grilling/beer swilling this evening. Mowing on Saturday, soccer match Saturday night and making some hot sauce on Sunday.
Good morning everyone. Sic - for dill pickles, I use a very easy recipe, making sure I use fresh dill. Dont know if that may help, I think it has more flavor than dried. I am going to a different plant/seed swap with a friend, so I need to gather up the transplants and get organized. Hope your weekend is filled with fun activity. Remember those less fortunate.

Good Sunday morning. Good seed swap yesterday, touring a gals yard, and able to cut a few deadheads for seeds. Most people brought nothing to share. I cant just show up and take . . . Planted most of the iris from last weeks swap so I have no room for anything new.

Good morning everyone. Made a weird jam yesterday from berries I used to make a liqueur. I love experimenting, so we shall see how this tastes in a few weeks. Pickled beets and hot dill pickles are on the agenda for a few days.
