off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. Last day of the beautiful mountains, picking up Olathe fresh corn and Palisade peaches on the way home. Looks like a longer route because of mudslides in Glenwood Canyon that closed I-70. We encountered a few yesterday, but CDOT was scraping the roads ahead of us. Have a wonderful day and stay healthy.

Glad your enjoying yourself Catherine. We are off to Tampa this morning for the wifes sons college graduation. I would really rather be going on a bike ride. Lawn, garden and nursery chores later. Also HAVE to fix some fencing in the corral. Be good have fun and enjoy. Good morning.
 
Good morning. Home again with lots to do in the gardens. We have a seed ‘class’ this AM, plus sharing extra produce. Sic- enjoy your time in Tampa. Some day you should visit CO’s bike trails and enjoy this scenery. Enjoy your day and stay healthy.

One week and I will be in Colorado! Flying into Phoenix and driving up to the Grand Canyon, to New Mexico, then north along the mountains.
 
Good morning. Wings for breakfast then going for a bike ride. One day Catherine, one day. Wife is working her horse and tending to gardens. I have lots of chores that need to be done so will knock out a few this afternoon. Bless up and have a great day.
 
Woke up early, topped off all my pepper fabric pots with soil. Got to get a mulch layer for the top being as this is my first grow and didn’t do that. Them Some fertilizer. Pepper plant love Sunday.
 
Good morning. Looks like a great day for laundry and clean up. The garden is looking great for some harvests, now to find time to can or freeze everything. I got a few different flower seeds at the class - now to remember to plant them. Have a wonderful day and stay healthy.

Good morning. It's 77 on its way to 97. Hot and humid. Back from vacation. Busy work schedule today. Harvested superhots yesterday. We also harvested some real nice Tekne Dolmasi peppers .... great for roasting and stuffing. Looking forward to our Canada fishing trip .... we leave on Saturday if we can get all of our vaccine/test stuff together. Be safe and be good.

Woke up and smoked a while walking through the plants. After the pepper love yesterday morning, my plants look amazing. So many little flowers poking out. Now I’ve got to go wake up the kids so I can get them ready for school while my wife gets ready for work. The life of short term disability has its perks. Hahaha That’s over this week. I’ve enjoyed spending more time recovering and doing the things I love, but I’m ready to get back to work.
 
Good afternoon. Lots of chores in the CG this AM and a bit of harvesting for friends. Some of them think I'm a free farmers market. We stopped in Palisade, CO for peaches from the orchard, so here's hoping they ripen this week and I can make jam again. We also bought corn and will freeze that today. Such begins the kitchen adventures.

I dont mind giving and we do give lots of produce away but I cant stand when people act like its free and no time or effort put into it. Off to mow the paddocks and clean up a creek at the stables. Wife is already there moving and feeding horses. Still hot and humid. Be good be nice be safe. Good morning.
 
Been up for a while now. Tried to go out back with a coffee and a little bit of peace of mind. My one year old had a different idea. So now I’m on the couch instead with this child asleep on me. My coffee is just out of reach. I have to do some packing as soon as he wakes up. No morning garden stroll for me today.
 
Good morning. It's 75 on its way to 95. Very busy meeting schedule today. Getting gear together for my fishing trip and arranging COVID tests prior to our arrival at the Canadian border. Yesterday, my wife processed/pickled 12 pints of banana peppers. We've completed our first picking of superhots and currently have buckets full of pods. Be safe, be good and be blessed.
 
Good morning. Smoky air again, but the chores are still waiting. These 90*F temps don’t help. Dr. appt. and the dogs today, so I should have time for jam. I’ve been fighting Japanese beetles on the hyssop, and they have migrated to the peaches.
