Happy New Year!

Well I'm a day early, but I'm on duty this weekend so thought to stop by and wish you all the best for the new year to come!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (AND HAPPY HOLIDAY FOR YOU JEWISH PEOPLE OUT THERE)

*According to the Hebrew calander if you haven't realized yet

Happy new year! Drink a glass of wine for me. I have to wait a bit longer til new years day. Which year do you start? 5770? Happy 5770!

Happy New Year!

And whatever wishes for good luck or great fortune should appropriately go with that. Shalom!

and, since we're here.....I'm doing a research paper on a familiar American food which I discovered has inspired a lot of similarly packaged products in other cultures (I am fortunate to live down the street from an international grocery store that sells to the diverse immigrant population of my city).

A Muslim friend was rather astonished at the variety of Halal brands I found, and suggested I also try to find a Kosher one for comparison.

So, is there a kosher product that is analogous to ....SPAM?

A google search gave me a link to a vague reference to a beef product that is marketed to Israeli soldiers....maybe called "Loof"

and if this is post-whoring, or something, slap my hand and respond to me in a private message, pretty please, Omri? -if I am not chasing a wild goose, that is!

I'm going to hit the grocery store that is in an Orthodox dense neighborhood and see what I could find there- but I'd like something more to walk in with other than "Kosher Spam?"

תודה עבור המבקשים לנו חג נחמד. במאי האדון טוב להמשיך יברך אותך ואני מאחל לך חופשה נעימה.

Wrong!! You Israelli's are so crazy! Firstly, Jesus was a Jew....but he had a Mexican name! Therefore, you shouldn't be celebrating today. You should have been celebrating the new year on....Cinco de Mayo!!

Salute', TB.

Happy Holidays Omri...
