Picante Habanero Review.  I am a bit stuffed up with a sore throat, so my tasting might be a bit off.  Didn't have much aroma at all and had a very mild hab taste.  No bitter taste to it either.

Took a bite out of the end and all I got was a tongue burn that wasn't too bad, Ate the rest of the half and got a good burn from it.  Tongue burn and lips bad burn.  Had an initial heartbeat in my sinuses for a couple beats.  Had some runny nose effect.  Peaked in about 5 minutes.  Lip burn out lasts the tongue burn by quite a bit.

Went out to the garden this evening, braving the hoard of mosquitoes, and found my Antilles Fire is ripening up.  It also would appear that my new 7 pot Burgundy plants are out producing the OW versions.  The plants are much taller, bushier, and I think are more loaded with pods.  Going to need to do some heavy thinking going forward.

Yellow Congo is almost there as well.  Hope to get some picking done tomorrow after work, start a Jigsaw sauce that I can finish on Tuesday.  Calling for rain, so I doubt I will get the boat out to run some sea foam through it.

Enjoy the night all.

Yeah the Cappuccino and Mustard are one of my favorites. Great color and taste. The Habanero Oxkutzcabian Orange is also a very nice one.

I love the numbing sensation I get from the mustard hab.  I made a bottle of hot sauce from it using lime juice and I ended up with something tasting like hot grapefruit juice lol.

Never heard of that other hab you mentioned.  I think I bookmarked somewhere that has a list of habs that I wanted to go back and research,,,still haven't had a chance to do that yet either.

Jigsaw Juice is started.

This would have been a great pic if the leaf hadn't fallen into the way.

Couple dozen Jigsaw.  Got at least that many more close to being ripe and three times this many still green.  Hoping the frost holds off.

Holy Hell Jeff, After eating a couple slivers of the Jigsaw, I completely respect that pepper. It is hot. This Jigsaw juice has me intrigued and a little scared for you. Don't hurt yourself...too much. :fireball:

One pepper for a 5 ounce woozy and it didn't even make me break a sweat.  As I reduce this sauce, it should get hotter if my reasoning is correct?

Got it food milled and tomorrow it will be adjusted and reduced for bottling.
